Isaiah 62

1 For Sion Y schal not be stille, and for Jerusalem Y schal not reste, til the iust man therof go out as schynyng, and the sauyour therof be teendid as a laumpe.

Um Zions willen, so will ich nicht schweigen, und um Jerusalems willen, so will ich nicht innehalten, bis daß ihre Gerechtigkeit aufgehe wie ein Glanz, und ihr Heil entbrenne wie eine Fackel,

2 And hethene men schulen se thi iust man, and alle kyngis schulen se thi noble man; and a newe name, which the mouth of the Lord nemyde, schal be clepid to thee.

daß die Heiden sehen deine Gerechtigkeit und alle Könige deine HERRLIchkeit; und du sollst mit einem neuen Namen genannt werden, welchen des HERRN Mund nennen wird.

3 And thou schalt be a coroun of glorie in the hond of the Lord, and a diademe of the rewme in the hond of thi God.

Und du wirst sein eine schöne Krone in der Hand des HERRN und ein königlicher Hut in der Hand deines Gottes.

4 Thou schalt no more be clepid forsakun, and thi lond schal no more be clepid desolat; but thou schalt be clepid My wille in that, and thi lond schal be enhabitid; for it plesid the Lord in thee, and thi lond schal be enhabited.

Man soll dich nicht mehr die Verlassene noch dein Land eine Wüstung heißen, sondern du sollst Meine Lust an ihr« und dein Land »Lieber Buhle« heißen; denn der HERR hat Lust an dir, und dein Land hat einen lieben Buhlen.

5 For a yong man schal dwelle with a virgyn, and thi sones schulen dwelle in thee; and the spouse schal haue ioie on the spousesse, and thi God schal haue ioie on thee.

Denn wie ein lieber Buhle einen Buhlen liebhat, so werden dich deine Kinder liebhaben, und wie sich ein Bräutigam freuet über der Braut, so wird sich dein Gott über dich freuen.

6 Jerusalem, Y haue ordeyned keperis on thi wallis, al dai and al niyt with outen ende thei schulen not be stille. Ye that thenken on the Lord, be not stille,

O Jerusalem, ich will Wächter auf deine Mauern bestellen, die den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht nimmer stille schweigen sollen und die des HERRN gedenken sollen, auf daß bei euch kein Schweigen sei,

7 and yyue ye not silence to him, til he stablische, and til he sette Jerusalem `preisyng in erthe.

und ihr von ihm nicht schweiget, bis daß Jerusalem gefertiget und gesetzt werde zum Lobe auf Erden.

8 The Lord swoor in his riyt hond and in the arm of his strengthe, Y schal no more yyue thi wheete mete to thin enemyes, and alien sones schulen not drynke thi wyn, in which thou hast trauelid.

Der HERR hat geschworen bei seiner Rechten und bei dem Arm seiner Macht: Ich will dein Getreide nicht mehr deinen Feinden zu essen geben, noch deinen Most, daran du gearbeitet hast, die Fremden trinken lassen,

9 For thei that schulen gadere it togidere, schulen ete it, and schulen herie the Lord; and thei that beren it togidere, schulen drynke in myn hooli hallis.

sondern die, so es einsammeln, sollen's auch essen und den HERRN rühmen, und die ihn einbringen, sollen ihn trinken in den Vorhöfen meines Heiligtums.

10 Passe ye, passe ye bi the yatis; make ye redi weie to the puple, make ye a playn path; and chese ye stoonys, and reise ye a signe to puplis.

Gehet hin, gehet hin durch die Tore, bereitet dem Volk den Weg; machet Bahn, machet Bahn, räumet die Steine auf; werfet ein Panier auf über die Völker!

11 Lo! the Lord made herd in the laste partis of the erthe. Seie ye to the douytir of Sion, Lo! thi sauyour cometh; lo! his meede is with hym, and his werk is bifore hym.

Siehe, der HERR lässet sich hören bis an der Welt Ende. Saget der Tochter Zion: Siehe, dein Heil kommt; siehe, sein Lohn ist bei ihm und seine Vergeltung ist vor ihm!

12 And thei schulen clepe hem the hooli puple, ayenbouyt of the Lord. Forsothe thou schalt be clepid a citee souyt, and not forsakun.

Man wird sie nennen das heilige Volk, die Erlösten des HERRN; und dich wird man heißen die besuchte und unverlassene Stadt.
