< 1 Corinthians 4 >

1 Let a man so reckon us as officers of Christ, and stewards of the secrets of God,
Ɛsɛ sɛ mubu yɛn sɛ Kristo asomfo a wɔde Onyankopɔn ahintasɛm a ɛyɛ nokware no ahyɛ yɛn nsa.
2 and as to the rest, it is required in the stewards that one may be found faithful,
Ade baako a wɔrehwehwɛ afi onipa a wɔde ahintasɛm no ahyɛ ne nsa no ne sɛ obedi ne wura no nokware.
3 and to me it is for a very little thing that by you I may be judged, or by man's day, but not even myself do I judge,
Sɛ mo anaa onipa bi bu me atɛn mprempren a, ɛmfa me ho. Mʼankasa nso mimmu me ho atɛn.
4 for of nothing to myself have I been conscious, but not in this have I been declared right — and he who is discerning me is the Lord:
Mʼadwene mu yɛ fann, nanso ɛno nkyerɛ sɛ midi bem fitaa. Awurade nko ara na obu me atɛn.
5 so, then, nothing before the time judge ye, till the Lord may come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of the darkness, and will manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then the praise shall come to each from God.
Enti ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara bu ne yɔnko atɛn kosi sɛ bere a ɛsɛ bɛba. Awurade ba mu no na wobebu atɛn a etwa to. Ɔbɛda nea ahintaw wɔ sum mu no adi na wada nea ahintaw wɔ nnipa koma mu no nso adi. Na onipa biara anya nʼayeyi afi Onyankopɔn hɔ.
6 And these things, brethren, I did transfer to myself and to Apollos because of you, that in us ye may learn not to think above that which hath been written, that ye may not be puffed up one for one against the other,
Anuanom, mo nti mede Apolo ne me ayɛ nhwɛso, sɛnea ɛbɛma mo osuahu a ɛka se, “Di mmara pa so” no. Ɛnsɛ sɛ mo mu biara de onipa bi hoahoa ne ho na obu ɔfoforo nso onipa teta.
7 for who doth make thee to differ? and what hast thou, that thou didst not receive? and if thou didst also receive, why dost thou glory as not having received?
8 Already ye are having been filled, already ye were rich, apart from us ye did reign, and I would also ye did reign, that we also with you may reign together,
Biribiara a mohwehwɛ no, mo nsa aka dedaw! Moyɛ adefo dedaw. Moayeyɛ ahemfo, nanso yɛnyɛ bi! Nokware, anka mepɛ sɛ moyɛ ahemfo na anka yɛn nso yɛyɛ ahemfo bɛka mo ho.
9 for I think that God did set forth us the apostles last — as appointed to death, because a spectacle we became to the world, and messengers, and men;
Ɛyɛ me sɛ yɛn asomafo yi de, Onyankopɔn de yɛn atwa to sɛ nnipa bi a wɔabu wɔn kumfɔ wɔ bagua mu sɛ nnipa ne wiase abɔfo nyinaa nhwɛ.
10 we [are] fools because of Christ, and ye wise in Christ; we [are] ailing, and ye strong; ye glorious, and we dishonoured;
Kristo nti yɛyɛ nkwaseafo, nanso moyɛ anyansafo wɔ Kristo mu. Yɛyɛ mmerɛw, nanso moyɛ den. Wommu yɛn, nanso wobu mo.
11 unto the present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and wander about,
Ebesi saa bere yi mu ɔkɔm ne osukɔm de yɛn. Yefura ntamagow; wɔhwe yɛn; yedi atutena;
12 and labour, working with [our] own hands; being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer;
yɛyɛ adwuma a ɛyɛ den de hwɛ yɛn ho. Wɔdome yɛn a, yehyira; wɔhwe yɛn a yegyina ano.
13 being spoken evil of, we entreat; as filth of the world we did become — of all things an offscouring — till now.
Wɔyaw yɛn a, yɛde kasa pa bua. Yɛte sɛ wiase yi mu wura bi a yɛnka hwee de besi nnɛ.
14 Not [as] putting you to shame do I write these things, but as my beloved children I do admonish,
Ɛnyɛ sɛ mepɛ sɛ migu mo anim ase nti na mekyerɛw saa nhoma yi brɛɛ mo. Na mmom mepɛ sɛ mekyerɛ mo ɔkwan sɛ me ara me mma a medɔ wɔn.
15 for if a myriad of child-conductors ye may have in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus, through the good news, I — I did beget you;
Na sɛ mowɔ ahwɛfo mpem du mpo wɔ mo asetena mu wɔ Kristo mu a, mowɔ Agya baako pɛ. Na mo nkwa a ɛwɔ Kristo Yesu mu no nti, menam asɛmpa a meka kyerɛɛ mo no so abɛyɛ mo agya.
16 I call upon you, therefore, become ye followers of me;
Mesrɛ mo sɛ munsuasua me.
17 because of this I sent to you Timotheus, who is my child, beloved and faithful in the Lord, who shall remind you of my ways in Christ, according as everywhere in every assembly I teach.
Ɛnam eyi so nti, meresoma Timoteo na waba mo nkyɛn. Ɔyɛ mʼankasa me dɔba a odi me nokware wɔ Awurade mu. Ɔbɛkaakae mo mʼakwan foforo a menam so di Kristo Yesu akyi ne nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛkyerɛ wɔ asafo biara a mekɔ mu no mu.
18 And as if I were not coming unto you certain were puffed up;
Mo mu bi ayɛ ahantan, susuw sɛ meremmɛsra mo.
19 but I will come quickly unto you, if the Lord may will, and I will know not the word of those puffed up, but the power;
Sɛ Awurade pɛ a, ɛrenkyɛ biara mɛba mo nkyɛn na mʼankasa mabɛhwɛ dwuma a saa ahantanfo yi betumi adi na ɛnyɛ asɛm a wɔbɛka no.
20 for not in word is the reign of God, but in power?
Onyankopɔn Ahenni no nyɛ nsɛnkeka na ɛyɛ tumi.
21 what do ye wish? with a rod shall I come unto you, or in love, with a spirit also of meekness?
Emu nea ɛwɔ he na mopɛ? Memmɛbɔ mo mmaa anaa koma a ɔdɔ wɔ mu na ebu ade na memfa mmra mo nkyɛn?
