Galates 1
1 Paul, apôtre, non de la part des hommes, ni par l'intermédiaire d'un homme, mais par Jésus-Christ et Dieu le Père, qui l'a ressuscité d'entre les morts,
Paul an apostle not from men nor through man but through Jesus Christ and God [the] Father the [One who] having raised Him out from [the] dead —
2 ainsi que tous les frères qui sont avec moi, aux Eglises de Galatie;
and the with me myself all brothers To the churches of Galatia:
3 à tous grâce et paix de la part de Dieu le Père et de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ,
Grace to you and peace from God Father of us and of [the] Lord Jesus Christ,
4 qui s'est donné lui-même pour nos péchés, afin de nous arracher à la corruption du siècle présent, selon la volonté de notre Dieu et Père, (aiōn g165)
the [One who] having given Himself (for *NK+o) the sins of us, so that He may deliver us out of the age of which having come presently evil according to the will of the God and Father of us, (aiōn g165)
to whom [be] the glory to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Je m'étonne que si vite vous vous laissiez détourner de celui qui vous a appelés en la grâce de Jésus-Christ, pour passer à un autre Evangile:
I am astonished that so soon you are deserting from the [One who] having called you in [the] grace of Christ to a different gospel
7 non certes qu'il y en ait un autre; seulement il y a des gens qui vous troublent et qui veulent changer l'Evangile du Christ.
which not is another, only except some there are who are troubling you and are desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 Mais quand nous-mêmes, quand un ange venu du ciel vous annoncerait un autre Evangile que celui que nous vous avons annoncé, qu'il soit anathème!
But even if we ourselves or an angel out of heaven (shall evangelise *NK+o) to you contrary to what we evangelised to you, accursed he should be.
9 Nous l'avons dit précédemment, et je le répète à cette heure, si quelqu'un vous annonce un autre Evangile que celui que vous avez reçu, qu'il soit anathème!
As we have said before, even now again I say, if anyone [to] you is evangelising contrary to what you received, accursed he should be.
10 En ce moment, est-ce la faveur des hommes, ou celle de Dieu que je recherche? Mon dessein est-il de complaire aux hommes? Si je plaisais encore aux hommes, je ne serais pas serviteur du Christ.
Presently for of men do I seek approval or God? Or do I seek men to please? if (for *k) yet men I were pleasing, of Christ a servant not then would I was being.
11 Je vous le déclare, en effet, frères, l'Evangile que j'ai prêché n'est pas de l'homme;
I make known (for *N+kO) to you, brothers, the gospel which having been evangelised by me that not it is according to man;
12 car ce n'est pas d'un homme que je l'ai reçu ni appris, mais par une révélation de Jésus-Christ.
Neither for I myself from man received it (nor *NK+o) was I taught [it] but through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
13 Vous avez, en effet, entendu parler de ma conduite, quand j'étais dans le judaïsme; comment je persécutais à outrance et ravageais l'Eglise de Dieu,
You have heard of for my way of life former in Judaism that beyond exceeding measure I was persecuting the church of God and was destroying it;
14 et comment je surpassais dans le judaïsme beaucoup de ceux de mon âge et de ma nation, étant à l'excès partisan jaloux des traditions de mes pères.
And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in the countrymen of mine more abundantly zealous being of the fathers of mine traditions.
15 Mais, lorsqu'il plut à celui qui m'avait mis à part dès le sein de ma mère, et qui m'a appelé par sa grâce,
When however was pleased God the [One] having selected me from [the] womb of mother of mine and having called [me] through the grace of Him
16 de révéler en moi son Fils, afin que je l'annonce parmi les Gentils, sur-le-champ, sans consulter ni la chair ni le sang,
to reveal the Son of Him in me myself, that I may evangelise Him among the Gentiles, immediately not I consulted with flesh and with blood,
17 sans monter à Jérusalem vers ceux qui étaient apôtres avant moi, je partis pour l'Arabie; puis je revins encore à Damas.
nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the before me apostles, but I went away into Arabia and again returned to Damascus.
18 Trois ans plus tard, je montai à Jérusalem pour faire la connaissance de Céphas, et je demeurai quinze jours auprès de lui.
Then after years three I went up to Jerusalem to make acquaintance with (Cephas *N+KO) and I remained with him days fifteen;
19 Mais je ne vis aucun des autres Apôtres, si ce n'est Jacques, le frère du Seigneur.
Other however of the apostles none I saw, only except James the brother of the Lord.
20 En tout ce que je vous écris là, je l'atteste devant Dieu, je ne mens pas.
In what now I write to you, behold before God that not I lie.
21 J'allai ensuite dans les contrées de la Syrie et de la Cilicie.
Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22 Or, j'étais inconnu de visage aux Eglises de Judée qui sont dans le Christ;
I was then unknown by face to the churches of Judea that [are] in Christ,
23 seulement elles avaient entendu dire que celui qui les persécutait autrefois annonçait maintenant la foi qu'il s'efforçait alors de détruire.
Only however hearing they were that the [one] persecuting us formerly now is evangelising the faith which once he was destroying;
24 Et elles glorifiaient Dieu à mon sujet.
And they were glorifying in me myself God.
