Jeremia 8

1 "Zu jener Zeit", ein Spruch des Herrn, "holt man aus ihren Grüften die Gebeine der Könige von Juda und die seiner Fürsten und die der Priester und Propheten und der Bewohner von Jerusalem

At the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh (people will bring out *QK) [the] bones of [the] kings of Judah and [the] bones of officials its and [the] bones of the priests and - [the] bones of the prophets and [the] bones of [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem from graves their.

2 und breitet sie der Sonne und dem Monde hin mitsamt dem ganzen Himmelsheer, gerade jenen, die sie so geliebt und denen sie gedient und nachgelaufen, die sie befragt und angebetet. Nie liest man sie mehr auf, begräbt sie nicht; als Dünger dienen sie dem Acker.

And they will spread out them to the sun and to the moon and to all - [the] host of the heavens which they loved them and which they served them and which they walked after them and which they consulted them and which they bowed down to them not they will be gathered and not they will be buried dung on [the] surface of the ground they will become.

3 Und lieber ist das Sterben als das Leben dem ganzen Rest, der übrigbleibt von dieser bösen Sippe, an all den Orten übrigbleibt, wohin ich sie verstoße." Ein Spruch des Herrn der Heerscharen.

And it will be chosen death more than life by all the remnant which remain from the family evil this in all the places which remain where I have banished them there [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

4 Sprich das zu ihnen: "So spricht der Herr: Wer fällt denn hin und will nicht wieder sich erheben? Wer geht denn fort und kehrt nicht wieder?

And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh ¿ do people fall and not do they stand up? or? does anyone turn away and not does he return?

5 Warum fiel dieses Volk, warum Jerusalem auf immer? Weswegen hält es fest am Trug und sträubt sich, umzukehren?

Why? has it turned away the people this Jerusalem apostasy enduring they have kept hold on deceitfulness they have refused to return.

6 Ich horche hin und lausche; sie aber reden nicht, was recht. Kein Mensch hat heute Reue über seine Schlechtigkeit, so daß er spricht: 'Was habe ich getan?' Denn sie verharren insgesamt bei ihrem Lauf, dem Rosse gleich, das in den Kampf sich stürzt.

I have paid attention and I have heard not right they speak there not [is] anyone [who] relents on wickedness his saying what? have I done all of it [is] turning (in own course their *QK) like a horse [which] rushes in the battle.

7 Sogar die Störche unterm Himmel kennen ihre Zeit, und Turteltaube, Schwalbe, Drossel kehren pünktlich wieder. Mein Volk jedoch kennt nicht des Herren Ordnung."

Also a stork in the heavens it knows appointed times its and a turtle-dove (and a swift *QK) and a crane they keep [the] time of coming they and people my not they know [the] ordinance of Yahweh.

8 Wie mögt ihr sagen: "Wir sind so weise. Wir haben ja des Herren Lehre inne"? Fürwahr, in Lügen arbeitet der Lügengriffel eurer Schriftgelehrten.

How? will you say [are] wise we and [the] law of Yahweh [is] with us truly here! into falsehood it has made [it] a stylus of falsehood of scribes.

9 Schande über diese Weisen! Bestürzt, betroffen werden sie. Verworfen haben sie das Wort des Herrn. Was nützt nun ihnen ihre Weisheit?

They will be put to shame wise [people] they will be dismayed and they have been captured there! [the] word of Yahweh they have rejected and wisdom of what? [belongs] to them.

10 "Ich gebe deshalb ihre Weiber andern und ihre Felder den Eroberern. Denn groß und klein, sie alle wollen Geld, und die Propheten und die Priester schaffen Trug.

Therefore I will give wives their to others fields their to [those who] dispossess for from [the] small and unto [the] great all of it [is] gaining unjust gain from prophet and unto priest all of it [is] doing falsehood.

11 Sie möchten gern den Schaden der Tochter meines Volkes auf das schnellste heilen. Nur Heil auf Heil verheißen sie, und doch ist nirgends Heil.

And they have healed [the] fracture of [the] daughter of people my on a trifling [thing] saying peace - peace and there not [is] peace.

12 Drum Schande über sie, daß sie so Greuliches verübt! Indes für sie gibt's kein Erröten mehr; - das Schämen haben sie verlernt. Drum werden sie bei den Erschlagnen liegen. Wenn ihrer Strafe Zeit erscheint, stürzen sie hin." - So spricht der Herr.

Are they ashamed? that an abomination they have done also at all not they are ashamed and to be ashamed not they know therefore they will fall among [those who] fall at [the] time of punishment their they will stumble he says Yahweh.

13 "Ich will bei ihnen Ernte halten." Ein Spruchdes Herrn. "Am Weinstock keine Trauben! Am Feigenbaume keine Feigen, und selbst das Laub verwelkt! Ich bringe ihnen ihren Tod."

Surely I will make an end of them [the] utterance of Yahweh there not [will be] grapes on the vine and there not [will be] figs on the fig tree and the leafage it will wither and I gave to them they will pass away them.

14 Weswegen sitzen wir herum? Zuhauf! Wir wollen in die festen Städte ziehen, daß wir dort schweigend harren. Denn unser Gott, der Herr, hüllt uns in Schweigen; mit bittrem Wasser tränkt er uns, weil wir uns an dem Herrn vergangen.

Concerning what? [are] we sitting gather yourselves so we may go into [the] cities of fortification so we may perish there for Yahweh God our he has silenced us and he has given to drink us water of poison for we have sinned to Yahweh.

15 Auf Frieden hoffen wir, jedoch nichts Gutes kommt, auf Ruhezeit kommt das Entsetzen.

We waited eagerly for peace and there not [was] good for a time of healing and there! terror.

16 Von Dan her hört man schon das Schnauben seiner Rosse vom lauten Wiehern seiner Hengste bebt das ganze Land. Sie fallen ein; das Land und seine Fülle fressen sie, die Stadt samt den Bewohnern. -

From Dan it has been heard [the] snorting of horses his from [the] sound of [the] neighings of mighty [horses] his it has shaken all the land and they have come and they have consumed [the] land and what fills it [the] city and [the] inhabitants in it.

17 "Giftschlangen schick ich euch, dawider jeder Zauber fehlt. Sie beißen euch", ein Spruch des Herrn.

For here I [am] about to send among you snakes vipers which there not for them [is] a charm and they will bite you [the] utterance of Yahweh.

18 "Dafür gibt's keine Heilung." Der Jammer faßt mich an; mein Herz in mir ist krank.

Cheerfulness my on sorrow on me heart my [is] faint.

19 Horch auf! Die Tochter meines Volkes schreit aus wüstem Land. "Ist denn der Herr nicht mehr in Sion? Ist denn sein König nicht mehr dort?" - "Weswegen reizten sie durch ihre Bilder mich zum Zorn, durch fremde Nichtse?"

There! [the] sound of [the] cry for help of [the] daughter of people my from a land of distance ¿ [is] Yahweh not in Zion or? [is] king its not in it why? have they provoked to anger me by idols their by vanities of foreignness.

20 "Vorbei der Sommer, und der Herbst vorüber, uns wird keine Hilfe."

It has passed harvest it has come to an end summer and we not we have been saved.

21 Dieweil gebrochen meines Volkes Tochter, bin ich gebrochen, übertraurig; mich packt Entsetzen.

On [the] brokenness of [the] daughter of people my I have been broken I am in mourning desolation it has taken hold of me.

22 Gibt's keinen Balsam mehr in Gilead? Ist denn kein Arzt mehr da? Warum vernarbt sich nicht die Wunde der Tochter meines Volkes?

¿ Balm [is] there not in Gilead or? a physician [is] there not there for why? not has it come up [the] healing of [the] daughter of people my.
