1 Samuel 6
1 Also war die Lade des HERRN sieben Monde im Lande der Philister.
And it was [the] ark of Yahweh in [the] region of [the] Philistines seven months.
2 Und die Philister riefen ihren Priestern und Weissagern und sprachen: Was sollen wir mit der Lade des HERRN machen? Lehret uns, womit sollen wir sie an ihren Ort senden?
And they summoned [the] Philistines the priests and the diviners saying what? will we do to [the] ark of Yahweh make known to us how? will we send it to own place its.
3 Sie sprachen: Wollt ihr die Lade des Gottes Israels senden, so sendet sie nicht leer, sondern sollt ihr vergelten ein Schuldopfer, so werdet ihr gesund werden und wird euch kund werden, warum seine Hand nicht von euch läßt.
And they said if [you are] about to send away [the] ark of [the] God of Israel may not you send away it empty for certainly you will send back to him a guilt offering then you will be healed and it will be known by you why? not does it turn aside hand his from you.
4 Sie aber sprachen: Welches ist das Schuldopfer, das wir ihm geben sollen? Sie antworteten: Fünf güldene Ärse und fünf güldene Mäuse nach der Zahl der fünf Fürsten der Philister; denn es ist einerlei Plage gewesen über euch alle und über eure Fürsten.
And they said what? [is] the guilt offering which we will send back to him and they said [the] number of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines five (tumors of *QK) gold and five mice of gold for a plague one [belongs] to all of them and to rulers your.
5 So müsset ihr nun machen gleiche Gestalt euren Ärsen und euren Mäusen, die euer Land verderbet haben, daß ihr dem Gott Israels die Ehre gebet; vielleicht wird seine Hand leichter werden über euch und über euren Gott und über euer Land.
And you will make images of (tumors your *QK) and images of mice your which are ruining the land and you will give to [the] God of Israel honor perhaps he will lighten hand his from on you and from on gods your and from on land your.
6 Warum verstocket ihr euer Herz, wie die Ägypter und Pharao ihr Herz verstockten? Ist's nicht also, da er sich an ihnen beweisete, ließen sie sie fahren, daß sie hingingen?
And why? will you harden heart your just as they hardened Egypt and Pharaoh heart their ¿ not just when he dealt wantonly with them and they sent away them and they went.
7 So nehmet nun und machet einen neuen Wagen und zwo junge säugende Kühe, auf die nie kein Joch kommen ist, und spannet sie an den Wagen und lasset ihre Kälber hinter ihnen daheim bleiben.
And therefore take and make a cart new one and two cows nursing which not it has gone up on them a yoke and you will harness the cows on the cart and you will take back young ones their from after them the house towards.
8 Und nehmet die Lade des HERRN und legt sie auf den Wagen; und die güldenen Kleinode, die ihr ihm zum Schuldopfer gebt, tut in ein Kästlein neben ihre Seiten und sendet sie hin und lasset sie gehen.
And you will take [the] ark of Yahweh and you will put it into the cart and - [the] articles of gold which you have sent back to him a guilt offering you will put in the box from side its and you will send away it and it will go.
9 Und sehet ihr zu. Gehet sie hinauf dem Wege ihrer Grenze gen Beth-Semes, so hat er uns all das große Übel getan. Wo nicht, so werden wir wissen, daß seine Hand uns nicht gerührt hat, sondern es ist uns ohngefähr widerfahren.
And you will see if [the] way of own territory its it will go up Beth Shemesh he he has done to us the harm great this and if not and we will know that not hand his it touched us chance it it happened to us.
10 Die Leute taten also und nahmen zwo junge säugende Kühe und spanneten sie an einen Wagen und behielten ihre Kälber daheim.
And they did the men thus and they took two cows nursing and they harnessed them on the cart and young ones their they shut up in the house.
11 Und legten die Lade des HERRN auf den Wagen und das Kästlein mit den güldenen Mäusen und mit den Bildern ihrer Ärse.
And they put [the] ark of Yahweh into the cart and the box and [the] mice of gold and [the] images of tumors their.
12 Und die Kühe gingen stracks Weges zu Beth-Semes zu auf einer Straße; und gingen und blöketen und wichen nicht, weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken. Und die Fürsten der Philister gingen ihnen nach bis an die Grenze Beth-Semes.
And they were straight the cows in the road on [the] road of Beth Shemesh on a highway one they went continuously and lowed and not they turned aside right [hand] and left [hand] and [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] going after them to [the] border of Beth Shemesh.
13 Die Beth-Semiter aber schnitten eben in der Weizenernte im Grunde; und huben ihre Augen auf und sahen die Lade und freueten sich, dieselbe zu sehen.
And Beth Shemesh [were] harvesting [the] harvest of wheat in the valley and they lifted up eyes their and they saw the ark and they rejoiced to see [it].
14 Der Wagen aber kam auf den Acker Josuas, des Beth-Semiters, und stund daselbst stille. Und war ein großer Stein daselbst. Und sie spalteten das Holz vom Wagen und opferten die Kühe dem HERRN zum Brandopfer.
And the cart it came to [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite and it stopped there and [was] there a stone large and they split [the] wood of the cart and the cows they offered up a burnt offering to Yahweh.
15 Die Leviten aber huben die Lade des HERRN herab und das Kästlein, das neben dran war, darinnen die güldenen Kleinode waren, und setzten sie auf den großen Stein. Aber die Leute zu Beth-Semes opferten dem HERRN desselben Tages Brandopfer und andere Opfer.
And the Levites they brought down - [the] ark of Yahweh and the box which [was] with it which [were] in it [the] articles of gold and they put [them] to the stone large and [the] people of Beth Shemesh they offered up burnt offerings and they sacrificed sacrifices on the day that to Yahweh.
16 Da aber die fünf Fürsten der Philister zugesehen hatten, zogen sie wiederum gen Ekron desselben Tages
And five [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they saw and they went back Ekron on the day that.
17 Dies sind aber die güldenen Ärse, die die Philister dem HERRN zum Schuldopfer gaben: Asdod einen, Gasa einen, Asklon einen, Gath einen und Ekron einen.
And these [are] [the] tumors of gold which they sent back [the] Philistines a guilt offering to Yahweh for Ashdod one for Gaza one for Ashkelon one for Gath one for Ekron one.
18 Und güldene Mäuse nach der Zahl aller Städte der Philister unter den fünf Fürsten, beide der gemauerten Städte und Dörfer, und bis an das große Abel, darauf sie die Lade des HERRN ließen, bis auf diesen Tag, auf dem Acker Josuas, des Beth-Semiters.
And [the] mice of gold [the] number of all [the] cities of [the] Philistines of [the] five the rulers from a city of fortification and unto village[s] of the hamlet-dweller[s] and to - Abel the great which they set down on it [the] ark of Yahweh until the day this in [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite.
19 Und etliche zu Beth-Semes wurden geschlagen, darum daß sie die Lade des HERRN gesehen hatten. Und er schlug des Volks fünfzigtausend und siebenzig Mann. Da trug das Volk Leid, daß der HERR so eine große Schlacht im Volk getan hatte.
And he struck down among [the] people of Beth Shemesh for they had looked in [the] ark of Yahweh and he struck down among the people seventy man fifty thousand man and they mourned the people for he had struck Yahweh the people a blow great
20 Und die Leute zu Beth-Semes sprachen: Wer kann stehen vor dem HERRN, solchem heiligen Gott? und zu wem soll er von uns ziehen?
and they said [the] people of Beth Shemesh who? is he able to stand before Yahweh the God holy this and to whom? will it go up from with us.
21 Und sie sandten Boten zu den Bürgern Kiriath-Jearims, und ließen ihnen sagen: Die Philister haben die Lade des HERRN wiedergebracht; kommt herab und holet sie zu euch hinauf.
And they sent messengers to [the] inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim saying they have brought back [the] Philistines [the] ark of Yahweh come down take up it to you.
