Hohelied 8
1 O daß ich dich, mein Bruder, der du meiner Mutter Brüste saugest, draußen fände und dich küssen müßte, daß mich niemand höhnete!
Who? will he give you like a brother to me [the] sucking child of [the] breasts of mother my I will find you on the outside I will kiss you also not people will despise me.
2 Ich wollte dich führen und in meiner Mutter Haus bringen, da du mich lehren solltest; da wollte ich dich tränken mit gemachtem Wein und mit dem Most meiner Granatäpfel.
I will lead you I will bring you to [the] house of mother my [who] she taught me I will give to drink you some of [the] wine of spice some of [the] juice of pomegranate my.
3 Seine Linke liegt unter meinem Haupt, und seine Rechte herzet mich.
Left [hand] his [is] under head my and right [hand] his it embraces me.
4 Ich beschwöre euch, Töchter Jerusalems, daß ihr meine Liebe nicht aufwecket noch reget, bis daß ihr selbst gefällt.
I adjure you O daughters of Jerusalem why? will you awaken - and why? will you arouse love until that it will please.
5 Wer ist die, die herauffähret von der Wüste und lehnet sich auf ihren Freund? Unter dem Apfelbaum weckte ich dich, da deine Mutter dich geboren hatte, da mit dir gelegen ist, die dich gezeuget hat.

6 Setze mich wie ein Siegel auf dein Herz und wie ein Siegel auf deinen Arm. Denn Liebe ist stark wie der Tod, und Eifer ist fest wie die Hölle. Ihre Glut ist feurig und eine Flamme des HERRN, (Sheol h7585)
Put me like seal on heart your like seal on arm your for [is] strong like death love [is] severe like Sheol jealousy flashes its [are] flashes of fire a flame of [the] Lord. (Sheol h7585)
7 daß auch viel Wasser nicht mögen die Liebe auslöschen, noch die Ströme sie ersäufen. Wenn einer alles Gut in seinem Hause um die Liebe geben wollte, so gälte es alles nichts.

8 Unsere Schwester ist klein und hat keine Brüste. Was sollen wir unserer Schwester tun, wenn man sie nun soll anreden?

9 Ist sie eine Mauer, so wollen wir silbern Bollwerk drauf bauen. Ist sie eine Tür, so wollen wir sie festigen mit zedernen Bohlen.
If [is] a wall she we will build on her a battlement of silver and if [is] a door she we will shut up over her a board of cedar.
10 Ich bin eine Mauer, und meine Brüste sind wie Türme. Da bin ich worden vor seinen Augen, als die Frieden findet.

11 Salomo hat einen Weinberg zu Baal-Hamon. Er gab den Weinberg den Hütern, daß ein jeglicher für seine Früchte brächte tausend Silberlinge.
A vineyard it belonged to Solomon at Baal-Hamon he gave the vineyard to [those who] keep each one he will bring for fruit its a thousand silver.
12 Mein Weinberg ist vor mir. Dir, Salomo, gebühren tausend; aber den Hütern zweihundert samt seinen Früchten.
Vineyard my which [belongs] to me [is] before me the thousand [shekels] [belong] to you O Solomon and two hundred [shekels] [belong] to [those who] keep fruit its.
13 Die du wohnest in den Gärten, laß mich deine Stimme hören; die Gesellschaften merken drauf.
O [one who] dwells in the gardens companions [are] listening for voice your cause to hear [it] me.
14 Fleuch, mein Freund, und sei gleich einem Reh oder jungen Hirsche auf den Würzbergen.
Hasten - O lover my and be like yourself a gazelle or [the] fawn of the deer on mountains of spices.
