Esodo 16
1 Levarono l'accampamento da Elim e tutta la comunità degli Israeliti arrivò al deserto di Sin, che si trova tra Elim e il Sinai, il quindici del secondo mese dopo la loro uscita dal paese d'Egitto.
And they set out from Elim and they came all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to [the] wilderness of Sin which [is] between Elim and between Sinai on [the] fif-teen day of the month second of going out their from [the] land of Egypt.
2 Nel deserto tutta la comunità degli Israeliti mormorò contro Mosè e contro Aronne.
(And they grumbled *QK) all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel on Moses and on Aaron in the wilderness.
3 Gli Israeliti dissero loro: «Fossimo morti per mano del Signore nel paese d'Egitto, quando eravamo seduti presso la pentola della carne, mangiando pane a sazietà! Invece ci avete fatti uscire in questo deserto per far morire di fame tutta questa moltitudine».
And they said to them [the] people of Israel who? will he give died we by [the] hand of Yahweh in [the] land of Egypt when sat we at [the] pot of the meat when ate we food to abundance for you have brought out us into the wilderness this to put to death all the assembly this by hunger.
4 Allora il Signore disse a Mosè: «Ecco, io sto per far piovere pane dal cielo per voi: il popolo uscirà a raccoglierne ogni giorno la razione di un giorno, perché io lo metta alla prova, per vedere se cammina secondo la mia legge o no.
And he said Yahweh to Moses here I [am] about to rain down for you bread from the heavens and it will go out the people and they will gather a matter of a day in day its so that I may put to [the] test it ¿ will it walk in law my or? not.
5 Ma il sesto giorno, quando prepareranno quello che dovranno portare a casa, sarà il doppio di ciò che raccoglieranno ogni altro giorno».
And it will be on the day sixth and they will prepare [that] which they will bring and it will be double to [that] which they will gather day - day.
6 Mosè e Aronne dissero a tutti gli Israeliti: «Questa sera saprete che il Signore vi ha fatti uscire dal paese d'Egitto;
And he said Moses and Aaron to all [the] people of Israel evening and you will know that Yahweh he brought out you from [the] land of Egypt.
7 domani mattina vedrete la Gloria del Signore; poiché egli ha inteso le vostre mormorazioni contro di lui. Noi infatti che cosa siamo, perché mormoriate contro di noi?».
And morning and you will see [the] glory of Yahweh because has heard he grumblings your on Yahweh and [are] we what? that (you will cause to grumble *QK) on us.
8 Mosè disse: «Quando il Signore vi darà alla sera la carne da mangiare e alla mattina il pane a sazietà, sarà perché il Signore ha inteso le mormorazioni, con le quali mormorate contro di lui. Noi infatti che cosa siamo? Non contro di noi vanno le vostre mormorazioni, ma contro il Signore».
And he said Moses when gives Yahweh to you in the evening meat to eat and bread in the morning to be satisfied because has heard Yahweh grumblings your which you [are] grumbling on him and [are] we what? not [are] on us grumblings your for on Yahweh.
9 Mosè disse ad Aronne: «Dà questo comando a tutta la comunità degli Israeliti: Avvicinatevi alla presenza del Signore, perché egli ha inteso le vostre mormorazioni!».
And he said Moses to Aaron say to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel draw near before Yahweh for he has heard grumblings your.
10 Ora mentre Aronne parlava a tutta la comunità degli Israeliti, essi si voltarono verso il deserto: ed ecco la Gloria del Signore apparve nella nube.
And it was when spoke Aaron to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel and they turned to the wilderness and there! [the] glory of Yahweh it appeared in the cloud.
11 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
12 «Ho inteso la mormorazione degli Israeliti. Parla loro così: Al tramonto mangerete carne e alla mattina vi sazierete di pane; saprete che io sono il Signore vostro Dio».
I have heard [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel speak to them saying between the two evenings you will eat meat and in the morning you will be satisfied bread and you will know that I [am] Yahweh God your.
13 Ora alla sera le quaglie salirono e coprirono l'accampamento; al mattino vi era uno strato di rugiada intorno all'accampamento.
And it was in the evening and it came up the quail and it covered the camp and in the morning it was [the] layer of the dew around the camp.
14 Poi lo strato di rugiada svanì ed ecco sulla superficie del deserto vi era una cosa minuta e granulosa, minuta come è la brina sulla terra.
And it went up [the] layer of dew and there! [was] on [the] surface of the wilderness thin [stuff] flake-like thin [stuff] like frost on the ground.
15 Gli Israeliti la videro e si dissero l'un l'altro: « Man hu: che cos'è?», perché non sapevano che cosa fosse. Mosè disse loro: «E' il pane che il Signore vi ha dato in cibo.
And they saw [the] people of Israel and they said each to brother his what? [is] it for not they knew what? [was] it and he said Moses to them it [is] the bread which he has given Yahweh to you to food.
16 Ecco che cosa comanda il Signore: Raccoglietene quanto ciascuno può mangiarne, un omer a testa, secondo il numero delle persone con voi. Ne prenderete ciascuno per quelli della propria tenda».
This [is] the word which he commands Yahweh gather some of it everyone to [the] mouth of food his an omer for the head [the] number of people your everyone for [those] who [are] in tent his you will take.
17 Così fecero gli Israeliti. Ne raccolsero chi molto chi poco.
And they did so [the] people of Israel and they gathered [it] the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little.
18 Si misurò con l' omer: colui che ne aveva preso di più, non ne aveva di troppo, colui che ne aveva preso di meno non ne mancava: avevano raccolto secondo quanto ciascuno poteva mangiarne.
And they measured [it] by the omer and not he had a surplus the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little not he had a lack everyone to [the] mouth of food his they had gathered.
19 Poi Mosè disse loro: «Nessuno ne faccia avanzare fino al mattino».
And he said Moses to them everyone may not him leave over any of it until morning.
20 Essi non obbedirono a Mosè e alcuni ne conservarono fino al mattino; ma vi si generarono vermi e imputridì. Mosè si irritò contro di loro.
And not they listened to Moses and they left over people some of it until morning and it became rotten worms and it stank and he was angry towards them Moses.
21 Essi dunque ne raccoglievano ogni mattina secondo quanto ciascuno mangiava; quando il sole cominciava a scaldare, si scioglieva.
And they gathered it in the morning in the morning everyone according to [the] mouth of food his and it was warm the sun and it melted.
22 Nel sesto giorno essi raccolsero il doppio di quel pane, due omer a testa. Allora tutti i principi della comunità vennero ad informare Mosè.
And it was - on the day sixth they gathered bread of double two omer[s] for the one and they came all [the] leaders of the congregation and they told to Moses.
23 E disse loro: «E' appunto ciò che ha detto il Signore: Domani è sabato, riposo assoluto consacrato al Signore. Ciò che avete da cuocere, cuocetelo; ciò che avete da bollire, bollitelo; quanto avanza, tenetelo in serbo fino a domani mattina».
And he said to them it [is that] which he said Yahweh a sabbath observance a sabbath of holiness to Yahweh [is] tomorrow [that] which you will bake bake and [that] which you will boil boil and all the surplus leave for yourselves for keeping until the morning.
24 Essi lo misero in serbo fino al mattino, come aveva ordinato Mosè, e non imputridì, né vi si trovarono vermi.
And they left it until the morning just as he had commanded Moses and not it stank and a maggot not it was in it.
25 Disse Mosè: «Mangiatelo oggi, perché è sabato in onore del Signore: oggi non lo troverete nella campagna.
And he said Moses eat it this day for [is] a sabbath this day to Yahweh this day not you will find it in the field.
26 Sei giorni lo raccoglierete, ma il settimo giorno è sabato: non ve ne sarà».
Six days you will gather it and on the day seventh a sabbath not it will be in it.
27 Nel settimo giorno alcuni del popolo uscirono per raccoglierne, ma non ne trovarono.
And it was on the day seventh they went out some of the people to gather [it] and not they found [it].
28 Disse allora il Signore a Mosè: «Fino a quando rifiuterete di osservare i miei ordini e le mie leggi?
And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? have you refused to keep commandments my and laws my.
29 Vedete che il Signore vi ha dato il sabato! Per questo egli vi dà al sesto giorno il pane per due giorni. Restate ciascuno al proprio posto! Nel settimo giorno nessuno esca dal luogo dove si trova».
Consider that Yahweh he has given to you the sabbath there-fore he [is] giving to you on the day sixth bread of two days remain - everyone in place his may not him go out anyone from place his on the day seventh.
30 Il popolo dunque riposò nel settimo giorno.
And they rested the people on the day seventh.
31 La casa d'Israele la chiamò manna. Era simile al seme del coriandolo e bianca; aveva il sapore di una focaccia con miele.
And they called [the] household of Israel name its manna and it [was] like [the] seed of coriander white and taste its [was] like a wafer with honey.
32 Mosè disse: «Questo ha ordinato il Signore: Riempitene un omer e conservatelo per i vostri discendenti, perché vedano il pane che vi ho dato da mangiare nel deserto, quando vi ho fatti uscire dal paese d'Egitto».
And he said Moses this [is] the word which he commands Yahweh [the] fullness of the omer of it [will be] for keeping to generations your so that - they may see the bread which I caused to eat you in the wilderness when brought out I you from [the] land of Egypt.
33 Mosè disse quindi ad Aronne: «Prendi un'urna e mettici un omer completo di manna; deponila davanti al Signore e conservala per i vostri discendenti».
And he said Moses to Aaron take a jar one and put there [the] fullness of the omer manna and deposit it before Yahweh for keeping to generations your.
34 Secondo quanto il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè, Aronne la depose per conservarla davanti alla Testimonianza.
Just as he had commanded Yahweh to Moses and he deposited it Aaron before the testimony for keeping.
35 Gli Israeliti mangiarono la manna per quarant'anni, fino al loro arrivo in una terra abitata, mangiarono cioè la manna finché furono arrivati ai confini del paese di Canaan.
And [the] people of Israel they ate the manna forty year[s] until came they into a land inhabited the manna they ate until came they to [the] border of [the] land of Canaan.
36 L' omer è la decima parte di un efa.
And the omer [is] [the] tenth [part] of the ephah it.
