ルカの福音書 17
1 イエズス弟子等に曰ひけるは、躓きは來らざるを得ず、然れど之を來す人は禍なる哉、
Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe [unto him], through whom they come!
2 石磨を頚に懸けられて海に投入れらるるは、此小き者の一人を躓かするよりは、寧彼に取りて優れり。
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3 汝等自ら注意せよ。若汝の兄弟汝に罪を犯さば之を諌めよ、而して若改心せば之を宥せ、
Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 一日に七度汝に罪を犯して、一日に七度改心すと云ひつつ汝に立ち返らば之を宥せ、と。
And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 使徒等、願くは我等の信仰を増し給へ、と主に云ひしかば、
And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 主曰ひけるは、汝等若芥一粒程の信仰だにあらば、此桑の樹に向ひて、抜けて海に移り樹て、と云はんに、必ず汝等に順はん。
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7 汝等の中誰か、僕の耕し或は牧して畑より還れる時、之に向ひて、直に往きて食せよ、と云ふ者あらんや。
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 却て我夕餉を支度し、我が飲食する中、帯して我に給仕せよ、さて後に汝飲食すべしと言ふに非ずや。
And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 命ぜし事を為したればとて、主人は彼僕に感謝するか、
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10 我思ふに然らず。斯の如く、汝等も命ぜられし事を悉く為したらん時、我等は無益の僕なり、為すべき事を為したる耳と言へ、と。
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11 第三項 旅行の終 イエズスエルザレムへ赴き給ふとて、サマリアとガリレアとの中程を通り給ひしが、
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 或村に入り給ふ時、十人の癩病者之を迎へて、遥に立止り、
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 聲を揚げて云ひけるは、師イエズスよ、我等を憫み給へ、と。
And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 イエズス之を見給ふや、汝等往きて己を司祭等に見せよ、と曰ひしかば、彼等往く程に、途中にて潔くなれり。
And when he saw [them], he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 其中の一人己の潔くなりたるを見るや、聲高く神に光榮を歸しつつ還來り、
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 イエズスの足下に平伏して感謝せしが、是サマリア人なりき。
And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 イエズス答へて曰ひけるは、潔くなりし者は十人に非ずや、其九人は何處にか居る、
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?
18 此異邦人の外は、立還りて神に光榮を歸し奉れる者見えざるなり、と。
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 即ち之に曰ひけるは、立ちて往け、蓋汝の信仰汝を救へり、と。
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 神の國は何時來るべきかと、ファリザイ人に問はれし時、イエズス答へて曰ひけるは、神の國は目に見えて來るものに非ず、
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 又、看よ、此處に在り彼處にありと云ふべきにも非ず、神の國は即ち汝等の中に在ればなり、と。
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 又弟子等に曰ひけるは、汝等が人の子の一日を見んと欲する日來らん、然れど之を見ざるべし。
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see [it].
23 又人は、看よ此處に在り彼處に在り、と云はんも、往くこと勿れ、從ふこと勿れ、
And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after [them], nor follow [them].
24 其は電光の閃きて空の極より極に光る如く、人の子も其日に當りて然あるべければなり。
For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one [part] under heaven, shineth unto the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 然れど豫め多くの苦を受け、且此時代の人に棄てられざるべからず。
But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 ノエの日に起りし如く、人の子の日にも亦然あらん、
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 即ちノエが方舟に入る日まで、人々飲食し、妻を娶り、娶せられ居りしが、洪水來りて悉く彼等を亡ぼせり。
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 又ロトの日に起りし如くならん、即ち人々飲食し、売買し、植ゑ、建てなど為し居りしが、
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 ロトがソドマより出でし日には、天より火と硫黄と降りて、彼等を悉く亡ぼせり。
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.
30 人の子の現るべき日にも亦斯の如くなるべし。
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 其時人屋根に居りて器具家の内に在らば、之を取らんとて下るべからず、畑に居る人も亦同じく歸るべからず。
In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 ロトの妻の事を憶へ。
Remember Lot’s wife.
33 総て己が生命を救はんと欲する人は之を失ひ、失はん人は之を保たん。
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 我汝等に告ぐ、彼夜には二人一個の寝牀に居らんに、一人は取られ一人は遺されん、
I tell you, in that night there shall be two [men] in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 二人の婦共に磨挽き居らんに、一人は取られ一人は遺されん、二人の男畑に居らんに、一人は取られ一人は遺されん、と。
Two [women] shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 弟子等答へて、主よ、何處ぞ、と云ひしかば、
Two [men] shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 何處にもあれ、屍の在らん處に鷲も亦集るべし、と曰へり。
And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body [is], thither will the eagles be gathered together.
