ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 2

1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತುಕೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

He said to me, “You human, stand up while I speak to you.”

2 ೨ ಆತನು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮವು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ನಾನು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು; ಆಗ ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾತನ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.

While he spoke to me, [God’s] Spirit entered me and enabled me to stand up. Then I heard him speak to me.

3 ೩ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಅವರೂ, ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

He said, “You human, I will send you to the Israeli people. They are people who have turned away from me and rebelled against me. Their ancestors rebelled against me, and they themselves are still rebelling against me.

4 ೪ “ನಾನು ಯಾವ ಸಂತಾನದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೋ ಆ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆಟ್ಟವರೂ, ಹಟಗಾರರೂ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ’ ಎಂದು ನುಡಿ.

The people to whom I will send you are very stubborn [DOU]. But say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says to you.’

5 ೫ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಕೇಳದೇ ಇರಲಿ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ವಂಶದವರು. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.”

[when you tell them my messages], perhaps those rebellious people will heed those messages and perhaps they will not heed them, but they will know [you are] a prophet who has been among them.

6 ೬ “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಮುಳ್ಳುಪೊದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡು, ಚೇಳುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ಅವರ ಗದರಿಕೆಗೆ ಹೆದರದಿರು; ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ವಂಶದವರು; ಅವರ ಬಿರುನುಡಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ಅವರ ಬಿರುನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರದಿರು.

And you human, you must not be afraid of them or afraid of what they say. [Living among them will be like] living in the midst of briers or scorpions, but do not be afraid of them. They are rebellious people [MTY], but do not allow them to cause you to become afraid.

7 ೭ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿದರೂ, ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದರೂ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು; ಅವರು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳೇ.”

Tell them my message, but do not expect them to pay attention to it, because they [very] rebellious.

8 ೮ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದ ಆ ವಂಶದವರಂತೆ ನೀನು ಅವಿಧೇಯನಾಗಬೇಡ; ನಾನು ಕೊಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಾಯಿದೆರೆದು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡು” ಅಂದನು.

But human, you must pay attention to what I say. Do not be rebellious like they are. [Now] open your mouth and eat what I give to you.”

9 ೯ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರಲಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಕೈ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚಾಚಿತ್ತು, ಇಗೋ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಂಥದ ಸುರುಳಿಯು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.

Then, as I watched, I saw his hand that was stretched toward me. In his hand was a scroll.

10 ೧೦ ಆತನು ಆ ಸುರುಳಿಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿದನು; ಅದರ ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬರೆದಿತ್ತು; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದದ್ದು ಪ್ರಲಾಪ, ಗೋಳಾಟ, ಶೋಕ ಇವುಗಳೇ.

He unrolled the scroll. On both sides of it were written words that expressed sorrow and mourning and words about trouble/disaster.
