Psalmi 148
1 Alleluja! Teiciet To Kungu debesīs, teiciet Viņu augstībā.
Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise ye him in the high places.
2 Teiciet Viņu, visi Viņa eņģeļi, teiciet Viņu, visi Viņa karapulki;
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3 Teiciet Viņu, saule un mēnesis, teiciet Viņu visas spožās zvaigznes;
Praise ye him, O sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars and light.
4 Teiciet Viņu, jūs debesu debesis, un jūs ūdeņi, kas ir pār debesīm.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens: and let all the waters that are above the heavens
5 Lai tie Tā Kunga vārdu teic, jo kad Viņš pavēlēja, tad tie tapa radīti.
Praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.
6 Viņš tiem liek pastāvēt mūžīgi mūžam, Viņš tiem ir likumu licis, ko tie nevar pārkāpt.
He hath established them for ever, and for ages of ages: he hath made a decree, and it shall not pass away.
7 Teiciet To Kungu virs zemes, jūs lielās jūras zivis un visi dziļumi,
Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all ye deeps:
8 Uguns un krusa, sniegs un migla, vējš un auka, kas Viņa vārdu izdara,
Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy winds which fulfill his word:
9 Kalni un visi pakalni, augļu koki un visi ciedru koki,
Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars:
10 Meža zvēri un visi lopi, tārpi un spārnainie putni,
Beasts and all cattle: serpents and feathered fowls:
11 Jūs ķēniņi virs zemes un visi ļaudis, lieli kungi un visi zemes soģi,
Kings of the earth and all people: princes and all judges of the earth:
12 Jaunekļi un jaunietes, veci ar jauniem:
Young men and maidens: let the old with the younger, praise the name of the Lord:
13 Tiem būs teikt Tā Kunga vārdu, jo Viņa vārds vien ir augsts, Viņa augstība ir pārāka par zemi un debesi,
For his name alone is exalted.
14 Un Viņš ir paaugstinājis Savu ļaužu ragu, slavu visiem Saviem svētiem, Israēla bērniem, tiem ļaudīm, kas Viņam tuvu. Alleluja!
The praise of him is above heaven and earth: and he hath exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his saints: to the children of Israel, a people approaching to him. Alleluia.
