1 യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു നവഗാനം ആലപിക്കുക, അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തരുടെ സഭയിൽ അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതിയും.

Sing ye to the Lord a new canticle: let his praise be in the church of the saints.

2 ഇസ്രായേൽ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്രഷ്ടാവിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ; സീയോന്റെ മക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവിൽ ആഹ്ലാദിക്കട്ടെ.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: and let the children of Sion be joyful in their king.

3 അവർ നൃത്തമാടിക്കൊണ്ട് തിരുനാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ തപ്പുകൊട്ടിയും കിന്നരംമീട്ടിയും അവിടത്തേക്ക് സംഗീതമാലപിക്കട്ടെ.

Let them praise his name in choir: let them sing to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.

4 കാരണം യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് വിനയാന്വിതരെ വിജയകിരീടം അണിയിക്കുന്നു.

For the Lord is well pleased with his people: and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.

5 അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തർ അവിടത്തെ മഹത്ത്വത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കിടക്കകളിൽ ആനന്ദഗീതം ആലപിക്കട്ടെ.

The saints shall rejoice in glory: they shall be joyful in their beds.

6 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്തുതി അവരുടെ വായിലും ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള വാൾ അവരുടെ കൈകളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ,

The high praise of God shall be in their mouth: and two-edged swords in their hands:

7 രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളോട് പ്രതികാരംചെയ്യുന്നതിനും ജനതകൾക്കു ശിക്ഷ നൽകുന്നതിനും

To execute vengeance upon the nations, chastisements among the people:

8 അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ചങ്ങലകളാലും അവരുടെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഇരുമ്പു വിലങ്ങുകളാലും ബന്ധിക്കുന്നതിനും

To bind their kings with fetters, and their nobles with manacles of iron.

9 അവർക്കെതിരേ എഴുതപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ന്യായവിധി നടപ്പിൽവരുത്തുന്നതിനുംതന്നെ— ഇത് അവിടത്തെ എല്ലാ വിശ്വസ്തർക്കുമുള്ള ബഹുമതിയാകുന്നു. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

To execute upon them the judgment that is written: this glory is to all his saints. Alleluia.
