1 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, തിരുനിവാസം എത്ര മനോഹരം!

For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. A Psalm by the sons of Korah. How lovely are your dwellings, LORD of Hosts!

2 എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവയുടെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളെ വാഞ്ഛിച്ചു മോഹിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയവും എന്റെ മാംസവും ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തെ നോക്കി ഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.

My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

3 കുരികിൽ ഒരു വീടും, മീവൽപക്ഷി കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു കൂടും കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ രാജാവും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ യാഗപീഠങ്ങളെ തന്നേ.

Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, near your altars, LORD of Hosts, my King, and my God.

4 നിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവർ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ; അവർ നിന്നെ നിത്യം സ്തുതിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. (സേലാ)

Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are always praising you. (Selah)

5 ബലം നിന്നിൽ ഉള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ; ഇങ്ങിനെയുള്ളവരുടെ മനസ്സിൽ സീയോനിലേക്കുള്ള പെരുവഴികൾ ഉണ്ടു.

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.

6 കണ്ണുനീർ താഴ്വരയിൽകൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ അതിനെ ജലാശയമാക്കിത്തീൎക്കുന്നു. മുന്മഴയാൽ അതു അനുഗ്രഹപൂൎണ്ണമായ്തീരുന്നു.

Passing through the valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs. Yes, the autumn rain covers it with blessings.

7 അവർ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ ബലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും സീയോനിൽ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ചെന്നെത്തുന്നു.

They go from strength to strength. Every one of them appears before God in Zion.

8 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാൎത്ഥന കേൾക്കേണമേ; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ. (സേലാ)

LORD, God of Hosts, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. (Selah)

9 ഞങ്ങളുടെ പരിചയായ ദൈവമേ, നോക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ മുഖത്തെ കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ;

Behold, God our shield, look at the face of your anointed.

10 നിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിൽ കഴിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ദിവസം വേറെ ആയിരം ദിവസത്തെക്കാൾ ഉത്തമമല്ലോ; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാൎക്കുന്നതിനെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ വാതിൽ കാവല്ക്കാരനായിരിക്കുന്നതു എനിക്കു ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടം.

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 യഹോവയായ ദൈവം സൂൎയ്യനും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു; യഹോവ കൃപയും മഹത്വവും നല്കുന്നു; നേരോടെ നടക്കുന്നവൎക്കു അവൻ ഒരു നന്മയും മുടക്കുകയില്ല.

For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.

12 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

LORD of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
