ယေဇကျေလ 15

1 ၁ တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည့် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 ၂ အချင်းလူသား၊ သစ်တော၌ သစ်ခက်သာမည် ဖြစ်သော စပျစ်နွယ်သားသည် အခြားသောသစ်သား ထက်မြတ်သောအရာ တစုံတခုရှိသလော။

Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, [or than] a branch which is among the trees of the forest?

3 ၃ တစုံတခုကို လုပ်အံ့သောငှါ စပျစ်နွယ်သားကို ယူတတ်သလော။ တစုံတခုကို ဆွဲထားစရာတံစို့ကို စပျစ် နွယ်သားဖြင့် လုပ်တတ်သလော။

Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will [men] take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?

4 ၄ ထင်းဘို့မီးထဲသို့ ချတတ်၏။ မီးသည်လည်း အရင်းအဖျားအလယ်ကို လောင်တတ်၏။ အသုံးဝင် တတ်သလော။

Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for [any] work?

5 ၅ မီးမလောင်မှီအသုံးမဝင်လျှင်၊ မီးလောင်၍ ကျွမ်းပြီးမှအသုံးမဝင်ဟု သာ၍ဆိုဘွယ်ရှိသည် မဟုတ် လော။

Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for [any] work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?

6 ၆ ဤအမှု၌ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည် ကား၊ တောသစ်ပင်တွင် မီးမွေးစရာဟင်းဘို့ငါ အပ်သော စပျစ်နွယ်သားကဲ့သို့၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သားတို့ကို ငါအပ် မည်။

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

7 ၇ သူတို့တဘက်၌ ငါသည် မျက်နှာကိုထားမည်။ သူတို့သည် မီးတပုံမှထွက်၍ တပုံ၌လောင်လိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့တဘက်၌ ငါသည် မျက်နှာကို ထားသောအခါ၊ ငါသည်ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို သင်တို့သိရကြ လိမ့်မည်။

And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from [one] fire, and [another] fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I set my face against them.

8 ၈ သူတို့သည် ငါ့ကို အထပ်ထပ်ပြစ်မှားသော ကြောင့်၊ ငါသည်သူတို့ ပြည်ကို လူဆိတ်ညံရာ အရပ် ဖြစ်စေမည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
