< Hebruute 12 >

1 Seng raangtaan ibah, haaki arah loong ah kookchap hali. Erah raangtaan ih seng tootmui soon li lam adi tim phaklak la nyia rangdah ih tangjoh hali ah thinhaat ih, eno seng thung nah tootmui soon ah kamkam ih thun ino soon ih.
Seeing then that we are encircled with this great cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and the sin that clings about us. Let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Seng mik ah Jisu taangko sok ih, ngo suh ephang dowa ih ethoon tuk ih seng tuungmaang jeela erah wah asuh ah. Heh bangphak ni chamnaang thoi tah thin haatta! mamah liidih tenroon ah heh jaakhoh ni ban tongta, heh ih bangphak nah tek suh rakrek tenthun tah jeeta, eno amadi Rangte tongtheng dakchah ko adi tongla.
looking unto Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured a cross, despising shame, and has now taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Taatthun thaak an heh di mamah angta rah ah; Heh ih timthan jen naanta rangdah mina loong ih taat miksuk rumta di ah! Erah raangtaan ih sen teenuh teewah thung nak joong theng nyia nak toihaat theng.
Compare yourselves with him who endured such hostility against himself at the hands of sinners, lest you grow weary, fainting in your souls.
4 Sen roidong di rangdah damdoh mui raangtaan ih khoh laan mat ruh bah amadi tuk ih maang thaak naan kan.
Not yet have you resisted unto blood in your fight against sin;
5 Rangte ih sen loong suh heh sah dakbi thun hanno tenchaan kot jengkhaap baat tahan rah beehaat tam ehan? “Nga sah, Teesu ih huk baat handoh sen thung ah koh an, Nak thungjoong an heh ih choophaan handoh ah.
and have you forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as sons? My son, do not despise the training of the Lord, Nor faint when he corrects you;
6 Timnge liidih Teesu ih marah minchan ha erah suh huk baat ha, eno marah heh sah ngeh ih ekap eha erah suh hoocham thuk ih la.”
For it is those whom he loves that he disciplines, And he scourges every son whom he acknowledges.
7 Maama wah ih hoocham thuk eha ah enaan etheng; Rangte ih sen loong suh heh sah lakbi thun halan ah sen chamnaang lan rah ih jat ha. Heh wah ih lataat hoocham thukka rah heh sah eje tam ah?
It is for discipline that you are enduring these sufferings. God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 Sen loong ah heh sah ang anno lah hoocham thuk thang mok ang an bah, sen loong ah sami tah ang kan, enoothong sen loong ah paansah.
If you are left without discipline, in which all children share, then are you bastards and not sons.
9 Mina ang ibah sengwah loong ih hoocham thuk ehe, eno neng ah echoomjoot ehi. Erah ang abah chiiala Wah lakhui nah batang aleh timthan wangjih ang ah! eno heh suh look haat ano thing tongjih ang ah!
Furthermore, our earthly fathers used to discipline us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 Hansi di hewah loong ih chomroi raangtaan ih hoocham thuk hali marah neng raangtaan ih punla adi ah, enoothong Rangte reela abah seng loong ese ang raangtaan ih reela, enooba heh esa adoh roongroop ih.
For they only disciplined us for a few days, as seemed good to them; but he does it for our profit, that we may share his holiness.
11 Seng ehoocham thuk ehali adi, chomroi raangtaan ih tenroon lah ang thang tenchi ang thuk hali. Ang abah uh linah marah mina asuh hoocham thuk ano sekthukla erah thaang ah kateng roidong di angla semroongroong thaang chotheng ah choh ah.
Now no discipline seems for the present to be joyous, but grievous; but afterward it yields the peaceable fruits of righteousness to those who have been trained under it.
12 Erah raangtaan ih an lak enaang elu rah toon uh, eno an lakuh mootnaang lu rah rong chap uh!
Wherefore lift up your listless hands, strengthen your feeble knees;
13 Lamjun adoh khoom ruh eh uh, ekoong anglu rah toom rong khoom uh, erah nang ibah ede thong toom eh uh.
make straight path for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.
14 Thoontang damdoh semroongroong angsuh thun uh, eno esa roidong ih tong suh thun uh, mamah liidih erah lah ang kaabah Teesu tah chotup ko ang ah.
Run swiftly after peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
15 Thungkhom ih tongtheng Rangte minchan nawa ladok soon suh ah. Ngo mina uh khadikdik me asu bangphook ang ano mih chamthuk ah likhiik nak ang an.
Look carefully that there be no one who falls back from the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springs up to trouble you, and by its means many become defiled.
16 Ngo uh Isau likhiik mih damdoh roongjup roongtong lah angtheng edoleh chiiala lamdoh larook lata lah angtheng, phokhoh men ah phaksat jaasiit satdi sangta likhiik ah.
Take care lest there be any fornicator or scorner like Esau among you, who for one meal sold his birthright.
17 Ejat nih ehan, lini hewah roomseetam ah chosuh taat nookta; enoothong heh engaak eta, timnge liidih ehuung taat ih ah bah uh marah reeta erah we lek suh lamhoh takah jeeta,
For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected; he found no room for repentance, though he sought it earnestly, with tears.
18 Sen loong ah Ijirel mina Sinai Kong ni we luungta nyia rangnak khukhuh, moonheeheek, pong ange angta adi wang rumta likhiik tawang ran,
For you are not come to a palpable and enkindled fire,
19 luirong erongwah ih huungmot arah nyia eriing eraak ih arah angta. Mih loong ah ih miroot ah chaat arah khotok doh nak toom kah we chaat ih ngeh riing huung rumla,
nor to gloom and darkness and tempest and the blare of a trumpet and an audible voice. Those who heard that voice entreated that no word more should be spoken to them.
20 timnge liidih neng loong ih thaaraamta ah kapchaat rum ano tajen naan rumta, eradi amah liita, “Chok awak ih kong ah paanak abah kong rah ih tekpat etheng.”
For they could not endure that which was enjoined, Even if a wild beast touches the mountain it shall be stoned to death;
21 Marah noisokta erah micho miphaan ang kano Moses ih liita, “Ngah rapne emoot cho elang!”
and so terrible was the scene that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and tremble.
22 Enoothong sen Jaion Kong ni nyia Ething Rangte samnuthung adi wang tahan, marah rangmong Jerusalem liiha eno rangsah hantek tongla eradi ah.
On the contrary you are come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to innumerable hosts of angels,
23 Ngo men rangmong ni raangha erah loong ah Rangte sah phokhoh nakhoh ih hoon ano tenroon theng adi lomtong lan, eno erah Rangte jiinni wang halan, marah ih mina kah dande ah nyia ese mina ah epun ih hoonla erah chiiala taang ni sen wang halan.
to the festal assemblage and church of the firstborn, registered in heaven, to a Judge who is God of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 Marah ih ena nuumiijeng khookhamte nyia Abel sih thaknang ibah ese thoon kakham hoonta sih hakte Jisu taang ni wang halan.
to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to his sprinkled Blood whose message cries louder than that of Abel.
25 Banban ih ban tong an, eno marah jengla erah lachaat thang nak eh an. Arah hatoh ni esa ruurang baat ha rah lachaat thang ih ngo tong ah erah mina abah tajen hottongka. Rangmong nawa marah jengla erah jeng lachaat mok ang ubah ehottong esuh echaan ang ah!
See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape punishment when they refused to listen to their instructor on earth, much less shall we escape if we turn away from him who is teaching us from heaven;
26 Erah tokdi heh jengkhaap nawa ih hatoh ah moot hoomta, Enoothong belam heh ih kakhamta, “Ngah ih jaasiit than we nyoong ang doh hatoh luulu lah angthang rangmong nep nyoong ang.”
whose voice then shook the earth, but now he has promised, saying, Once again, once for all, I make not only earth, but heaven also to tremble.
27 Jengkhaap loong “Taksiit we boot baatta” rah ih noisok ha timthan dong hoonchoi loong ah enyoong eh ah nyia tah tong thukka ang ah, erah doba marah lajen moot nyoongka erah ba chengtong ah.
That phrase, "Once again," signifies the removal of the things which can be shaken, created things, in order that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Lakookmi li thung angtheng timnge ah lajen moot nyoongka hasong ah choli, heh tenroon thuk suh seng echo lam ih nyia heh choomjoot lam ih eno lakookmi jenglam ih heh rang ah soom ih;
Wherefore since we are receiving a kingdom which is unshakable, let us give thanks, and so offer acceptable worship to God, with holy awe and fear,
29 Mamah liidih seng Rangte ah jirep thet haatte we.
FOR INDEED OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE.
