ଯିରିମୀୟ 49
1 ଅମ୍ମୋନ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବିଷୟ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର କି ପୁତ୍ର ନାହିଁ? ତାହାର ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ କି କେହି ନାହିଁ? ତେବେ ମିଲ୍କମ୍ କାହିଁକି ଗାଦ୍ର ଭୂମି ଅଧିକାର କରୁଅଛି ଓ ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନେ ତହିଁର ନଗରସମୂହରେ ବାସ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି?
Unto the children of Ammon thus saith the Lord, Hath Israel no sonnes? or hath he none heire? Why then hath their king possessed God? and his people dwelt in his cities?
2 ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅମ୍ମୋନ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ରବ୍ବା ନଗର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ଭୟ ଧ୍ୱନି ଶୁଣାଇବା, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି; ଆଉ, ତାହା ନରଶୂନ୍ୟ ଢିପି ହେବ ଓ ତାହାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରାଯିବେ; ତହିଁରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ଅଧିକାର କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
Therefore beholde the dayes come, sayeth the Lord, that I will cause a noyse of warre to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites, and it shall be a desolate heape, and her daughters shall be burnt with fire: then shall Israel possesse those that possessed him, sayeth the Lord.
3 ହେ ହିଷ୍ବୋନ, ହାହାକାର କର, କାରଣ ଅୟ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେଲା! ହେ ରବ୍ବାର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ, କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କର, ଚଟବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କର; ବିଳାପ କର, ପ୍ରାଚୀର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏଣେତେଣେ ଦୌଡ଼; କାରଣ ମିଲ୍କମ୍, ତାହାର ଯାଜକଗଣ ଓ ଅଧିପତିଗଣ ଏକତ୍ର ବନ୍ଦୀ ହୋଇଯିବେ।
Howle, O Heshbon, for Ai is wasted: crie ye daughters of Rabbah: girde you with sackecloth: mourne and runne to and from by the hedges: for their King shall goe into captiuitie; and his Priestes, and his princes likewise.
4 ଗୋ ବିପଥଗାମିନୀ କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ତଳଭୂମି ସବୁରେ, ଆପଣା ପ୍ରବାହଶୀଳ ତଳଭୂମିରେ ଦର୍ପ କରୁଅଛ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଧନ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରି କହୁଅଛ, ‘ମୋʼ ନିକଟକୁ କିଏ ଆସିବ?’
Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleis? thy valley floweth away, O rebellious daughter: she trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come vnto me?
5 ପ୍ରଭୁ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥିତ ସବୁରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଭୟ ଘଟାଇବା; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥ ପଥରେ ତାଡ଼ିତ ହେବ, ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁ ଜନ ପଥ ହୁଡ଼େ, ତାହାକୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କେହି ନ ଥିବ।
Beholde, I will bring a feare vpon thee, sayth the Lord God of hostes, of all those that be about thee, and ye shalbe scattered euery man right foorth, and none shall gather him that fleeth.
6 ତଥାପି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅମ୍ମୋନ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥାରୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିବା।”
And afterward I will bring againe the captiuitie of the children of Ammon.
7 ଇଦୋମର ବିଷୟ। ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ତୈମନ୍ରେ କି ଆଉ ଜ୍ଞାନ ନାହିଁ? ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ କି ପରାମର୍ଶ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛି? ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନ କି ଅନ୍ତର୍ହିତ ହୋଇଅଛି?
To Edom thus sayeth the Lord of hostes: Is wisdome no more in Teman? is counsel perished from their children? is their wisdome vanished?
8 ହେ ଦଦାନ ନିବାସୀଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପଳାଅ, ମୁଖ ଫେରାଅ, ଗଭୀର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କର; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଏଷୌର ବିପଦ, ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବାର ସମୟ ଆଣିବା।
Flee, ye inhabitants of Dedan (they are turned backe, and haue consulted to dwell) for I haue brought the destruction of Esau vpon him, and the time of his visitation.
9 ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ସଂଗ୍ରହକାରୀମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲେ, ସେମାନେ କି ସାଉଣ୍ଟିବା ପାଇଁ କିଛି ଫଳ ଛାଡ଼ିବେ ନାହିଁ? ଯଦି ଚୋରମାନେ ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଆସିବେ, ତେବେ ସେମାନେ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ପାଇବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କି କ୍ଷତି କରିବେ ନାହିଁ?
If the grape gatherers come to thee, would they not leaue some grapes? if theeues come by night, they will destroy till they haue ynough.
10 ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଷୌକୁ ଶୂନ୍ୟ କରିଅଛୁ, ତାହାର ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନସବୁ ଅନାବୃତ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ସେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଲୁଚାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ; ତାହାର ବଂଶ, ତାହାର ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ଓ ତାହାର ପ୍ରତିବାସୀଗଣ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ନାହିଁ।
For I haue discouered Esau: I haue vncouered his secrets, and he shall not be able to hide himselfe: his seede is wasted, and his brethren and his neighbours, and there shall be none to say,
11 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃହୀନ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଛାଡ଼, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବନରେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଧବାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତୁ।
Leaue thy fathers children, and I will preserue them aliue, and let thy widowes trust in me.
12 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ସେହି ପାତ୍ରରେ ପାନ କରିବାର ସମ୍ପର୍କ ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ତହିଁରେ ପାନ କରିବେ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ସର୍ବତୋଭାବେ ଅଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହେବ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ପାନ କରିବ।
For thus sayth the Lord, Beholde, they whose iudgement was not to drinke of the cuppe, haue assuredly drunken, and art thou he that shall escape free? thou shalt not goe free, but thou shalt surely drinke of it.
13 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ନାମରେ ଶପଥ କରିଅଛୁ ଯେ, ବସ୍ରା ବିସ୍ମୟର, ନିନ୍ଦାର, ଉତ୍ସନ୍ନତାର ଓ ଅଭିଶାପର ପାତ୍ର ହେବ ଓ ତହିଁର ନଗରସବୁ ଚିରକାଳ ଉତ୍ସନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ।”
For I haue sworne by my selfe, sayeth the Lord, that Bozrah shall be waste, and for a reproche, and a desolation, and a curse, and all the cities thereof shall be perpetuall desolations.
14 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଶୁଣିଅଛି, ପୁଣି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏହି କଥା କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଜଣେ ଦୂତ ପ୍ରେରିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଯଥା, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇ ତାହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସ ଓ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଉଠ।
I haue heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassadour is sent vnto the heathen, saying, Gather you together, and come against her, and rise vp to the battell.
15 କାରଣ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅବଜ୍ଞାତ କରିଅଛୁ।
For loe, I will make thee but small among the heathen, and despised among men.
16 ଗୋ ଶୈଳଛିଦ୍ର ନିବାସିନୀ, ହେ ପର୍ବତ ଶୃଙ୍ଗ ଅବଲମ୍ବିନୀ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭୟଙ୍କରତା ବିଷୟରେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣର ଅହଙ୍କାର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା କରିଅଛି; ଯଦ୍ୟପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉତ୍କ୍ରୋଶ ପକ୍ଷୀ ପରି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥାନରେ ବସା କରିବ, ତଥାପି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସେଠାରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆଣିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
Thy feare, and ye pride of thine heart hath deceiued thee, thou that dwellest in the cleftes of the rocke, and keepest the height of ye hil: though thou shouldest make thy nest as hie as the eagle, I wil bring thee downe from thece, sayth the Lord.
17 ପୁଣି, “ଇଦୋମ ବିସ୍ମୟର ବିଷୟ ହେବ; ତହିଁର ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଗମନକାରୀ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ବିସ୍ମିତ ହେବେ ଓ ତହିଁର ସକଳ ଦଣ୍ଡ ସକାଶୁ ଶୀସ୍ ଶବ୍ଦ କରିବେ।
Also Edom shall be desolate: euery one that goeth by it, shall be astonished, and shall hisse at all the plagues thereof,
18 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସଦୋମ ଓ ହମୋରାର ଓ ତନ୍ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ନଗରସମୂହ ସଦୃଶ୍ୟ ତାହାର ଉତ୍ପାଟନ ହେବ, କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ସେଠାରେ ବାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
As in the ouerthrowe of Sodom, and of Gomorah, and the places thereof neere about, saieth the Lord: no man shall dwell there, neither shall the sonnes of men remaine in it.
19 ଦେଖ, ସେ ଦୃଢ଼ ନିବାସ ସ୍ଥାନ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସିଂହ ପରି ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ଦର୍ପ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଉଠି ଆସିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ହଠାତ୍ ତାହା ନିକଟରୁ ତାହାକୁ ଦୂର କରିଦେବା; ଆଉ, ମନୋନୀତ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ, ତାହା ଉପରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବା; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭ ପରି କିଏ ଅଛି? ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ କିଏ ସମୟ ନିରୂପଣ କରିବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଯେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇପାରେ, ଏପରି ପାଳକ କିଏ ଅଛି?
Beholde, hee shall come vp like a lyon from the swelling of Iorden vnto the strong dwelling place: for I will make Israel to rest, euen I will make him to haste away from her, and who is a chosen man that I may appoynt against her? for who is like mee? and who will appoint me the time? and who is the shepheard that will stande before me?
20 ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଦୋମର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯେଉଁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଓ ତୈମନ୍ ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯେଉଁ ସଂକଳ୍ପ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଶୁଣ, ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ, ପଲର ଛୁଆମାନଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ଟାଣି ନେଇଯିବେ; ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିବାସ ସ୍ଥାନ ସହିତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସନ୍ନ କରିବ।
Therefore heare the counsell of the Lord that hee hath deuised against Edom, and his purpose that hee hath conceiued against the inhabitants of Teman: surely the least of the flocke shall drawe them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
21 ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପତନ ଶବ୍ଦରେ ପୃଥିବୀ କମ୍ପୁଅଛି, ସୂଫ ସାଗର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନର ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣା ଯାଉଅଛି।
The earth is mooued at the noyse of their fall: the crie of their voice is heard in the red Sea.
22 ଦେଖ, ସେ ଉତ୍କ୍ରୋଶ ପକ୍ଷୀ ପରି ଉଠି ଉଡ଼ି ଆସିବ ଓ ବସ୍ରା ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ପକ୍ଷ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିବ; ପୁଣି, ସେସମୟରେ ଇଦୋମର ବୀର ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ପ୍ରସବ ବେଦନାଗ୍ରସ୍ତା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣର ସମାନ ହେବ।”
Behold, he shall come vp, and flie as the Egle, and spreade his wings ouer Bozrah, and at that day shall the heart of the strong men of Edome be as the heart of a woman in trauaile.
23 ଦମ୍ମେଶକର ବିଷୟ। “ହମାତ୍ ଓ ଅର୍ପଦ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଶୁଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ତରଳି ଯାଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ଉଦ୍ବେଗ ଦେଖାଯାଉଅଛି, ତାହା ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ନ ପାରେ।
Vnto Damascus he sayeth, Hamath is confounded and Arpad, for they haue heard euill tidings, and they are faint hearted as one on the fearefull sea that can not rest.
24 ଦମ୍ମେଶକ କ୍ଷୀଣବଳ ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେ ପଳାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଫେରୁଅଛି, କମ୍ପନ ତାହାକୁ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛି; ଯେପରି ପ୍ରସବକାଳରେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକକୁ, ସେପରି ତାହାକୁ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଓ ଦୁଃଖ ଧରିଅଛି।
Damascus is discouraged, and turneth her selfe to flight and feare hath seased her: anguish and sorowes haue taken her as a woman in trauaile.
25 ଏହି ପ୍ରଶଂସିତ ନଗର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆନନ୍ଦଜନକ ନଗର କାହିଁକି ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ?
How is the glorious citie not reserued, the citie of my ioy?
26 ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସେଦିନରେ ତାହାର ଯୁବକଗଣ ତାହାର ରାଜଦାଣ୍ଡରେ ପତିତ ହେବେ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଯୋଦ୍ଧା ନିସ୍ତବ୍ଧ କରାଯିବେ।
Therefore her yong men shall fall in her streetes, and all her men of warre shall be cut off in that day, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
27 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦମ୍ମେଶକର ପ୍ରାଚୀରରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଲଗାଇବା, ତହିଁରେ ତାହା ବିନ୍ହଦଦ୍ର ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାସବୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ।”
And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, which shall cosume the palaces of Benhadad.
28 “ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରାଜିତ କେଦାରର ଓ ହାସୋର ରାଜ୍ୟସମୂହର ବିଷୟ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଉଠି କେଦାରକୁ ଯାଅ ଓ ପୂର୍ବଦେଶୀୟ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ହରଣ କର।
Vnto Kedar, and to the kingdomes of Hazor, which Nebuchad-nezzar, king of Babel shall smite, thus sayeth the Lord, Arise, and goe vp vnto Kedar, and destroy the men of the East.
29 ଲୋକମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ତମ୍ବୁ ଓ ପଶୁପଲସବୁ ନେଇଯିବେ; ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯବନିକା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯାବତୀୟ ପାତ୍ର ଓ ଓଟଗଣକୁ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନେଇଯିବେ, ଆଉ ‘ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଆଶଙ୍କା’ ବୋଲି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବେ।
Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: yea, they shall take to themselues their curtaines and all their vessels, and their camels, and they shall crie vnto them, Feare is on euery side.
30 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ହେ ହାସୋର ନିବାସୀମାନେ, ପଳାୟନ କର, ଦୂରରେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କର, ଗଭୀର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କର; କାରଣ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିଅଛି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ସଂକଳ୍ପ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଅଛି।
Flee, get you farre off (they haue consulted to dwell) O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the Lord: for Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel hath taken counsell against you, and hath deuised a purpose against you.
31 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଉଠ, ଯେଉଁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ କବାଟ ଓ ହୁଡ଼ୁକାବିହୀନ ହୋଇ ନିରାପଦରେ ଓ ନିଶ୍ଚିନ୍ତରେ ଏକଲା ବାସ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କର।
Arise, and get you vp vnto the welthy nation that dwelleth without care, saith the Lord, which haue neither gates nor barres, but dwel alone.
32 ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଓଟଗଣ ଲୁଟିତ ବସ୍ତୁ ହେବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅନେକ ଅନେକ ପଶୁ ଲୁଟିତ ହେବେ; ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କେଶର କୋଣ କାଟନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଚାରିଆଡ଼ରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିପଦ ଆଣିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
And their camels shall be a bootie, and the multitude of their cattel a spoile, and I will scatter them into all windes, and to the vtmost corners, and I will bring their destruction from al the sides thereof, sayeth the Lord.
33 ପୁଣି, ହାସୋର ଶୃଗାଳମାନଙ୍କର ବସତି ଓ ସଦାକାଳ ଉତ୍ସନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ; କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ସେଠାରେ ବାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।”
And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and desolation for euer: there shall no man dwell there, nor the sonnes of men remaine in it.
34 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକୀୟଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ଵର ଆରମ୍ଭ ସମୟରେ ଏଲମ୍ ବିଷୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଯିରିମୀୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା, ଯଥା,
The woordes of the Lord that came to Ieremiah the Prophet, concerning Elam, in the beginning of the reigne of Zedekiah King of Iudah, saying,
35 ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, “ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଲମ୍ର ଧନୁ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବଳର ଅଗ୍ରିମାଂଶ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବା।
Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes, Beholde, I will breake the bowe of Elam, euen the chiefe of their strength.
36 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆକାଶର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରୁ ଚାରି ବାୟୁ ଏଲମ୍ ଉପରେ ବହାଇବା ଓ ସେହି ସବୁ ବାୟୁ ଆଡ଼େ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରିବା; ଆଉ, ଏଲମ୍ର ଦୂରୀକୃତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁଠାକୁ ନ ଯିବେ, ଏପରି ଦେଶ ନ ଥିବ।
And vpon Elam I will bring the foure windes from the foure quarters of heauen, and will scatter them towardes all these windes, and there shall bee no nation, whither the fugitiues of Elam shall not come.
37 ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଲମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣନାଶର ଚେଷ୍ଟାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବିସ୍ମିତ କରାଇବା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ କ୍ରୋଧ ଘଟାଇବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର ନ କରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ପଠାଇବା।
For I will cause Elam to be afraied before their enemies, and before them that seeke their liues, and will bring vpon them a plague, euen the indignation of my wrath, saieth the Lord, and I wil sende the sworde after them till I haue consumed them.
38 ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଲମ୍ରେ ଆପଣା ସିଂହାସନ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ଓ ସେସ୍ଥାନରୁ ରାଜାକୁ ଓ ଅଧିପତିଗଣକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା।
And I wil set my throne in Elam, and I wil destroy both the King and the princes from thence, saith the Lord:
39 ମାତ୍ର ଶେଷ କାଳରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏଲମ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀତ୍ୱାବସ୍ଥାରୁ ଫେରାଇ ଆଣିବା, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।”
but in the latter daies I wil bring againe the captiuitie of Elam, sayeth the Lord.
