ଯୋହନ 15
1 “ମୁଁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା, ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ପିତା କୃଷକ।
I am the true vine; and my Father is the cultivator.
2 ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ଥିବା ଯେକୌଣସି ଶାଖା ଫଳ ନ ଫଳେ, ତାହା ସେ କାଟିପକାନ୍ତି; ଆଉ, ଯେକୌଣସି ଶାଖା ଫଳ ଫଳେ, ଅଧିକ ଫଳ ଫଳିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ତାହା ପରିଷ୍କାର କରନ୍ତି।
Every branch in me, which yieldeth not fruits, he taketh it away: and that which yieldeth fruits, he cleanseth it, that it may yield more fruits.
3 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଅଛି, ସେଥିସକାଶେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରିଷ୍କୃତ ହୋଇସାରିଅଛ।
Ye henceforth are clean, on account of the discourse I have held with you.
4 ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ରୁହ, ସେଥିରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ରହିବି। ଶାଖା ଯେପରି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାରେ ନ ରହିଲେ ନିଜରୁ ଫଳ ଫଳି ପାରେ ନାହିଁ, ସେହିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ନ ରହିଲେ ଫଳ ଫଳି ପାର ନାହିଁ।
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot yield fruits of itself, unless it abide in the vine; so also, neither can ye, unless ye abide in me.
5 ମୁଁ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶାଖା; ଯେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ରହେ ଓ ମୁଁ ଯାହାଠାରେ ରହେ, ସେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଫଳ ଫଳେ; କାରଣ ମୋʼ ବିନା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିଛି କରିପାର ନାହିଁ।
I am the vine, and ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, he yieldeth much fruit; for without me, ye can do nothing.
6 କେହି ଯେବେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ନ ରହେ, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେ ଶାଖା ପରି ବାହାରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଆଯାଏ ଓ ଶୁଖିଯାଏ, ପୁଣି, ଲୋକେ ସେଗୁଡ଼ାକ ଏକାଠି କରି ନିଆଁରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ସେଗୁଡ଼ାକ ପୋଡ଼ିଯାଏ।
And if a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a withered branch; and they gather it up, and cast it into the fire to be burned.
7 ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ରୁହ, ଆଉ ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ରୁହେ, ତାହାହେଲେ ଯେକୌଣସି ବିଷୟ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତାହା ମାଗ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହା ସାଧିତ ହେବ।
But if ye shall abide in me, and my instructions shall abide in you, whatever ye shall be pleased to ask, it will be given to you.
8 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଫଳ ଫଳିଲେ ମୋହର ପିତା ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ ହେବେ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରକୃତ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ହେବ।
In this is the Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and ye will be my disciples.
9 ପିତା ଯେପ୍ରକାର ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେପ୍ରକାର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛି; ମୋହର ପ୍ରେମରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରହିଥାଅ।
As my Father hath loved me, I also have loved you: abide ye in the love of me.
10 ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେମରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରହିଥାଏ, ସେପ୍ରକାର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେବେ ମୋହର ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କର, ତାହାହେଲେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେମରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରହିବ।
If ye shall keep my commands, ye will abide in the love of me, as I have kept the commands of my Father, and abide in his love.
11 ମୋହର ଆନନ୍ଦ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଥାଏ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଯେପରି ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ଏସମସ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି।
These things have I spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.
12 ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହିପରି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କର, ଏହି ମୋହର ଆଜ୍ଞା।
This is my command, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜ ପ୍ରାଣ ଦାନ କରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା କାହାରି ଆଉ ଅଧିକ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରେମ ନାହିଁ।
There is no greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଉଅଛି, ତାହା ଯଦି ପାଳନ କର, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋହର ବନ୍ଧୁ।
Ye are my friends, if ye do all that I command you.
15 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ ଦାସ ବୋଲି କହୁ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ କର୍ତ୍ତା କଅଣ କରନ୍ତି, ଦାସ ତାହା ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଧୁ ବୋଲି କହିଅଛି, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଶୁଣିଅଛି, ସେହିସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଅଛି।
I no longer call you servants; because a servant knoweth not what his lord doeth; but I have called you my friends; because, whatever I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you.
16 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋତେ ମନୋନୀତ କରି ନାହଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛି, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଯାଇ ଫଳ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଫଳ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛି। ସେଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋʼ ନାମରେ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କିଛି ମାଗିବ, ସେ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେବେ;
It is not ye that chose me, but I that have chosen you; and I have appointed you, that ye also should go and yield fruits, and that your fruits should continue; so that whatever ye may ask of my Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କର, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଉଅଛି।”
These things I command you, that ye should love one another.
18 “ଜଗତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବା ପୂର୍ବେ ତାହା ଯେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରିଅଛି, ଏହା ଜାଣ।
And if the world hate you, know ye, that it hated me before you.
19 ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇଥାଆନ୍ତ, ତେବେ ଜଗତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାର ଲୋକ ଜାଣି ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତା; କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ନାହଁ, ବରଂ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଗତ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛି, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଗତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ।
And if ye were of the world, the world would love what is of it. But ye are not of the world, for I have chosen you out of the world; for this cause, the world hateth you.
20 ଦାସ ଆପଣା କର୍ତ୍ତାଠାରୁ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନୁହେଁ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଅଛି, ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣ କର। ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିବେ; ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟ ପାଳନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟ ପାଳନ କରିବେ।
Remember the word that I spoke to you, That there is no servant, who is greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; and if they have observed my teaching, they will also observe yours.
21 କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେରଣକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣି ନ ଥିବାରୁ ମୋହର ନାମ ସକାଶେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କରିବେ।
But all these things will they do to you, on account of my name, because they know not him that sent me.
22 ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଆସି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହି ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ହୋଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତା; କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ବିଷୟରେ ସେମାନେ କୌଣସି ବାହାନା କରିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
If I had not come and discoursed with them, sin would not have been to them; but now there is no excuse for their sins.
23 ଯେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ସେ ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଘୃଣା କରେ।
He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.
24 ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମସବୁ ଆଉ କେହି କରି ନାହିଁ, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ସେହିସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କରି ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ ହୋଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତା; କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେମାନେ ଦେଖିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ମୋତେ ଓ ମୋହର ପିତା ଉଭୟଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
If I had not wrought before them works which no other person ever did, sin would not have been to them: but now they have seen, and have hated, both me and my Father;
25 ‘ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କଲେ,’ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ଲିଖିତ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ସଫଳ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଏପରି ଘଟୁଅଛି।
so that in them will be fulfilled the word which is written in their law: They hated me, without a cause.
26 ପିତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯେଉଁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିବି, ପିତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବର୍ହିଗତ ସେହି ସତ୍ୟମୟ ଆତ୍ମା ଆସିଲେ ମୋʼ ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବେ;
But when the Comforter shall come, whom I will send to you from my Father, that Spirit of truth who proceedeth from the Father, He will testify of me.
27 ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସାକ୍ଷୀ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ମୋʼ ସହିତ ରହିଅଛ।”
And do ye also testify; for ye have been with me from the beginning.
