< ਅੱਯੂਬ 40 >

1 ੧ ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ,
And the Lord addide, and spak to Joob,
2 ੨ “ਕੀ ਝਗੜਾਲੂ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇ? ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਹਿਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵੇ!
Whether he, that stryueth with God, schal haue rest so liytli? Sotheli he, that repreueth God, owith for to answere to hym.
3 ੩ “ਤਦ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
Forsothe Joob answeride to the Lord,
4 ੪ ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਨਿਕੰਮਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
and seide, What may Y answere, which haue spoke liytli? Y schal putte myn hond on my mouth.
5 ੫ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਨਾ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ!
Y spak o thing, which thing Y wold, that Y hadde not seid; and Y spak anothir thing, to which Y schal no more adde.
6 ੬ “ਅੱਗੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਵਰੋਲੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ,
Forsothe the Lord answeride to Joob fro the whirlewynd,
7 ੭ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਮਰ ਕੱਸ ਲੈ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ!
and seide, Girde thou as a man thi leendis, and Y schal axe thee, and schewe thou to me.
8 ੮ “ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ? ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਵੇਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਠਹਿਰੇਂ?
Whether thou schalt make voide my doom, and schalt condempne me, that thou be maad iust?
9 ੯ ਕੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਜ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ?।
And if thou hast an arm, as God hath, and if thou thundrist with lijk vois, `take thou fairnesse aboute thee,
10 ੧੦ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਤੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨ ਲੈ!
and be thou reisid an hiy, and be thou gloriouse, and be thou clothid `in faire clothis.
11 ੧੧ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਗਾ ਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰ, -
Distrie thou proude men in thi woodnesse, and biholde thou, and make lowe ech bostere.
12 ੧੨ ਹਰੇਕ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕਰ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿੱਧ ਸੁੱਟ!
Biholde thou alle proude men, and schende thou hem; and al to-breke thou wickid men in her place.
13 ੧੩ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਧੂੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕਾ ਦੇ, ਓਹਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦੇ,
Hide thou hem in dust togidere, and drenche doun her faces in to a diche.
14 ੧੪ ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਮੰਨ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ!
And Y schal knowleche, that thi riyt hond may saue thee.
15 ੧੫ “ਜ਼ਰਾ ਦਰਿਆਈ ਘੋੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਘਾਹ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Lo! behemot, whom Y made with thee, schal as an oxe ete hey.
16 ੧੬ ਵੇਖ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਕਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਦੇ ਪੱਠਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ!
His strengthe is in hise leendis, and his vertu is in the nawle of his wombe.
17 ੧੭ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਛ ਦਿਆਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਿਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੱਟਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾੜਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
He streyneth his tail as a cedre; the senewis of his `stones of gendrure ben foldid togidere.
18 ੧੮ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਅਰਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਨ।
Hise boonys ben as the pipis of bras; the gristil of hym is as platis of yrun.
19 ੧੯ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਰੰਭ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਲਿਆ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ!
He is the bigynnyng of the weies of God; he, that made hym, schal sette his swerd to hym.
20 ੨੦ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਚਾਰਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹਨ।
Hillis beren eerbis to this behemot; alle the beestis of the feeld pleien there.
21 ੨੧ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਖੋਭਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਉਹ ਲੇਟਦਾ ਹੈ।
He slepith vndur schadewe, in the pryuete of rehed, in moiste places.
22 ੨੨ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਨਾਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੈਂਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Schadewis hilen his schadewe; the salewis of the ryuer cumpassen hym.
23 ੨੩ ਵੇਖ, ਜੇ ਦਰਿਆ ਰੋਹ ਵਿਖਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੰਬਦਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੱਕ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਹ ਨਿਡਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He schal soupe vp the flood, and he schal not wondre; he hath trist, that Jordan schal flowe in to his mouth.
24 ੨੪ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਕੌਣ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਫੰਦਾ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਨੱਥ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?”
He schal take hem bi `the iyen of hym, as bi an hook; and bi scharpe schaftis he schal perse hise nosethirlis.
