2 تیموتاوس 4

۱ 1 تو را در حضور خدا و مسیح عیسی که برزندگان و مردگان داوری خواهد کرد قسم می‌دهم و به ظهور وملکوت او

I testify before God, and before Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead through his return and his kingdom:

۲ 2 که به کلام موعظه کنی و در فرصت و غیر فرصت مواظب باشی و تنبیه و توبیخ و نصیحت نمایی باکمال تحمل و تعلیم.

that you should preach the word urgently, in season and out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke, with all patience and doctrine.

۳ 3 زیرا ایامی می‌آید که تعلیم صحیح را متحمل نخواهند شد، بلکه برحسب شهوات خود خارش گوشها داشته، معلمان را برخود فراهم خواهند‌آورد،

For there shall be a time when they will not endure sound doctrine, but instead, according to their own desires, they will gather to themselves teachers, with itching ears,

۴ 4 و گوشهای خود رااز راستی برگردانیده، به سوی افسانه‌ها خواهندگرایید.

and certainly, they will turn their hearing away from the truth, and they will be turned toward fables.

۵ 5 لیکن تو در همه‌چیز هشیار بوده، متحمل زحمات باش و عمل مبشر را بجا آور وخدمت خود را به‌کمال رسان.

But as for you, truly, be vigilant, laboring in all things. Do the work of an Evangelist, fulfilling your ministry. Show self-restraint.

۶ 6 زیرا که من الان ریخته می‌شوم و وقت رحلت من رسیده است.

For I am already being worn away, and the time of my dissolution presses close.

۷ 7 به جنگ نیکو جنگ کرده‌ام و دوره خود را به‌کمال رسانیده، ایمان رامحفوظ داشته‌ام.

I have fought the good fight. I have completed the course. I have preserved the faith.

۸ 8 بعد از این تاج عدالت برای من حاضر شده است که خداوند داور عادل در آن روز به من خواهد داد؛ و نه به من فقط بلکه نیز به همه کسانی که ظهور او را دوست می‌دارند.

As for the remainder, a crown of justice has been reserved for me, one which the Lord, the just judge, will render to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to those who look forward to his return.

۹ 9 سعی کن که به زودی نزد من آیی،

Hurry to return to me soon.

۱۰ 10 زیرا که دیماس برای محبت این جهان حاضر مرا ترک کرده، به تسالونیکی رفته است و کریسکیس به غلاطیه و تیطس به دلماطیه. (aiōn g165)

For Demas has abandoned me, out of love for this age, and he has departed for Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia; Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)

۱۱ 11 لوقا تنها با من است. مرقس را برداشته، با خود بیاور زیرا که مرابجهت خدمت مفید است.

Luke alone is with me. Take Mark and bring him with you; for he is useful to me in the ministry.

۱۲ 12 اما تیخیکس را به افسس فرستادم.

But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.

۱۳ 13 ردایی را که در تروآس نزدکرپس گذاشتم، وقت آمدنت بیاور و کتب را نیز وخصوص رقوق را.

When you return, bring with you the supplies that I left with Carpus at Troas, and the books, but especially the parchments.

۱۴ 14 اسکندر مسکر با من بسیاربدیها کرد. خداوند او را بحسب افعالش جزاخواهد داد.

Alexander the coppersmith has shown me much evil; the Lord will repay him according to his works.

۱۵ 15 و تو هم از او باحذر باش زیرا که باسخنان ما بشدت مقاومت نمود.

And you should also avoid him; for he has strongly resisted our words.

۱۶ 16 در محاجه اول من، هیچ‌کس با من حاضر نشد بلکه همه مراترک کردند. مباد که این بر ایشان محسوب شود.

At my first defense, no one stood by me, but everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them!

۱۷ 17 لیکن خداوند با من ایستاده، به من قوت داد تاموعظه بوسیله من به‌کمال رسد و تمامی امت هابشنوند و از دهان شیر رستم.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the preaching would be accomplished, and so that all the Gentiles would hear. And I was freed from the mouth of the lion.

۱۸ 18 و خداوند مرا ازهر کار بد خواهد رهانید و تا به ملکوت آسمانی خود نجات خواهد داد. او را تا ابدالاباد جلال باد. آمین. (aiōn g165)

The Lord has freed me from every evil work, and he will accomplish salvation by his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

۱۹ 19 فرسکا و اکیلا و اهل خانه انیسیفورس راسلام رسان.

Greet Prisca, and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.

۲۰ 20 ارستس در قرنتس ماند؛ اماترفیمس را در میلیتس بیمار واگذاردم.

Erastus remained at Corinth. And Trophimus I left sick at Miletus.

۲۱ 21 سعی کن که قبل از زمستان بیایی. افبولس و پودیس ولینس و کلادیه و همه برادران تو را سلام می‌رسانند.

Hurry to arrive before winter. Eubulus, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brothers greet you.

۲۲ 22 عیسی مسیح خداوند با روح توباد. فیض بر شما باد. آمین.

May the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. May grace be with you. Amen.
