«روح من تلف شده، و روزهایم تمام گردیده، و قبر برای من حاضر است. | ۱ 1 |
My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.
به درستی که استهزاکنندگان نزد منند، و چشم من در منازعت ایشان دائم میماند. | ۲ 2 |
Are there not mockers with me? and does not my eye continue in their provocation?
الان گرو بده و به جهت من نزد خود ضامن باش. والا کیست که به من دست دهد؟ | ۳ 3 |
Lay down now, put me in a surety with you; who is he that will strike hands with me?
چونکه دل ایشان را از حکمت منع کردهای، بنابراین ایشان را بلند نخواهی ساخت. | ۴ 4 |
For you have hid their heart from understanding: therefore shall you not exalt them.
کسیکه دوستان خود را به تاراج تسلیم کند، چشمان فرزندانش تار خواهد شد. | ۵ 5 |
He that speaks flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
مرا نزدامتها مثل ساخته است، و مثل کسیکه بر رویش آب دهان اندازند شدهام. | ۶ 6 |
He has made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
چشم من از غصه کاهیده شده است، و تمامی اعضایم مثل سایه گردیده. | ۷ 7 |
My eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.
راستان بهسبب این، حیران میمانند وصالحان خویشتن را بر ریاکاران برمی انگیزانند. | ۸ 8 |
Upright men shall be astonished at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
لیکن مرد عادل به طریق خود متمسک میشود، و کسیکه دست پاک دارد، در قوت ترقی خواهدنمود. | ۹ 9 |
The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that has clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
«اما همه شما برگشته، الان بیایید و در میان شما حکیمی نخواهم یافت. | ۱۰ 10 |
But as for you all, do you return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
روزهای من گذشته، و قصدهای من و فکرهای دلم منقطع شده است. | ۱۱ 11 |
My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.
شب را به روز تبدیل میکنند و باوجود تاریکی میگویند روشنایی نزدیک است. | ۱۲ 12 |
They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.
وقتی که امید دارم هاویه خانه من میباشد، وبستر خود را در تاریکی میگسترانم، (Sheol ) | ۱۳ 13 |
If I wait, the grave is my house: I have made my bed in the darkness. (Sheol )
و به هلاکت میگویم تو پدر من هستی و به کرم که تومادر و خواهر من میباشی. | ۱۴ 14 |
I have said to corruption, You are my father: to the worm, You are my mother, and my sister.
پس امید من کجااست؟ و کیست که امید مرا خواهد دید؟ | ۱۵ 15 |
And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?
تابندهای هاویه فرو میرود، هنگامی که با هم درخاک نزول (نماییم ).» (Sheol ) | ۱۶ 16 |
They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust. (Sheol )
