۱ 1 پولس و تیموتاوس، غلامان عیسی مسیح، به همه مقدسین در مسیح عیسی که درفیلپی می‌باشند با اسقفان و شماسان.

Poul and Tymothe, seruauntis of Jhesu Crist, to alle the hooli men in Crist Jhesu, that ben at Filippis, with bischopis and dekenes,

۲ 2 فیض و سلامتی از جانب پدر ما خدا وعیسی مسیح خداوند بر شما باد.

grace and pees to you of God oure fadir, and of the Lord Jhesu Crist.

۳ 3 در تمامی یادگاری شما خدای خود را شکرمی گذارم،

I do thankyngis to my God

۴ 4 و پیوسته در هر دعای خود برای جمیع شما به خوشی دعا می‌کنم،

in al mynde of you euere more in alle my preyeris for alle you with ioye, and

۵ 5 به‌سبب مشارکت شما برای انجیل از روز اول تا به حال.

make a bisechyng on youre comynyng in the gospel of Crist, fro the firste day til nowe;

۶ 6 چونکه به این اعتماد دارم که او که عمل نیکو رادر شما شروع کرد، آن را تا روز عیسی مسیح به‌کمال خواهد رسانید.

tristenynge this ilke thing, that he that bigan in you a good werk, schal perfourme it til in to the dai of Jhesu Crist.

۷ 7 چنانکه مرا سزاوار است که درباره همه شما همین فکر کنم زیرا که شما رادر دل خود می‌دارم که در زنجیرهای من و درحجت و اثبات انجیل همه شما با من شریک دراین نعمت هستید.

As it is iust to me to feele this thing for alle you, for that Y haue you in herte, and in my boondis, and in defending and confermyng of the gospel, that alle ye be felowis of my ioye.

۸ 8 زیرا خدا مرا شاهد است که چقدر در احشای عیسی مسیح، مشتاق همه شماهستم.

For God is a witnesse to me, hou Y coueyte alle you in the bowelis of Jhesu Crist.

۹ 9 و برای این دعا می‌کنم تا محبت شما درمعرفت و کمال فهم بسیار افزونتر شود.

And this thing Y preie, that youre charite be plenteuouse more and more in kunnyng, and in al wit;

۱۰ 10 تاچیزهای بهتر را برگزینید و در روز مسیح بی‌غش و بی‌لغزش باشید،

that ye preue the betere thingis, that ye be clene and without offence in the dai of Crist;

۱۱ 11 و پر شوید از میوه عدالت که بوسیله عیسی مسیح برای تمجید و حمدخداست.

fillid with the fruyt of riytwysnesse bi Jhesu Crist, in to the glory and the heriyng of God.

۱۲ 12 اما‌ای برادران، می‌خواهم شما بدانید که آنچه بر من واقع گشت، برعکس به ترقی انجیل انجامید،

For, britheren, Y wole that ye wite, that the thingis that ben aboute me han comun more to the profit of the gospel,

۱۳ 13 بحدی که زنجیرهای من آشکارا شددر مسیح در تمام فوج خاص و به همه دیگران.

so that my boondis weren maad knowun in Crist, in ech moot halle, and in alle other placis;

۱۴ 14 و اکثر از برادران در خداوند از زنجیرهای من اعتماد به هم رسانیده، بیشتر جرات می‌کنند که کلام خدا را بی‌ترس بگویند.

that mo of britheren tristinge in the Lord more plenteuously for my boondis, dursten without drede speke the word of God.

۱۵ 15 اما بعضی ازحسد و نزاع به مسیح موعظه می‌کنند، ولی بعضی هم از خشنودی.

But summe for enuye and strijf, summe for good wille, prechen Crist;

۱۶ 16 اما آنان از تعصب نه ازاخلاص به مسیح اعلام می‌کنند و گمان می‌برندکه به زنجیرهای من زحمت می‌افزایند.

and summe of charite, witinge that Y am put in the defense of the gospel.

۱۷ 17 ولی اینان از راه محبت، چونکه می‌دانند که من بجهت حمایت انجیل معین شده‌ام.

But summe of strijf schewen Crist not cleneli, gessynge hem to reise tribulacioun to my boondis.

۱۸ 18 پس چه؟ جز اینکه به هر صورت، خواه به بهانه و خواه به راستی، به مسیح موعظه می‌شود واز این شادمانم بلکه شادی هم خواهم کرد،

But what? the while on al maner, ethir bi occasioun, ethir bi treuthe, Crist is schewid; and in this thing Y haue ioye, but also Y schal haue ioye.

۱۹ 19 زیرا می‌دانم که به نجات من خواهد انجامیدبوسیله دعای شما و تایید روح عیسی مسیح،

And Y woot, that this thing schal come to me in to heelthe bi youre preyer, and the vndurmynystring of the spirit of `Jhesu Crist, bi myn abidyng and hope.

۲۰ 20 برحسب انتظار و امید من که در هیچ‌چیزخجالت نخواهم کشید، بلکه در کمال دلیری، چنانکه همیشه، الان نیز مسیح در بدن من جلال خواهد یافت، خواه در حیات و خواه در موت.

For in no thing Y schal be schamed, but in al trist as euere more and now, Crist schal be magnefied in my bodi, ether bi lijf, ether bi deth.

۲۱ 21 زیرا که مرا زیستن مسیح است و مردن نفع.

For me to lyue is Crist, and to die is wynnyng.

۲۲ 22 و لیکن اگر زیستن در جسم، همان ثمر کار من است، پس نمی دانم کدام را اختیار کنم.

That if to lyue in fleisch, is fruyt of werk to me, lo! what Y schal chese, Y knowe not.

۲۳ 23 زیرادر میان این دو سخت گرفتار هستم، چونکه خواهش دارم که رحلت کنم و با مسیح باشم، زیرااین بسیار بهتر است.

But Y am constreyned of twei thingis, Y haue desire to be dissolued, and to be with Crist, it is myche more betere; but to dwelle in fleisch,

۲۴ 24 لیکن در جسم ماندن برای شما لازمتر است.

is nedeful for you.

۲۵ 25 و چون این اعتماد را دارم، می‌دانم که خواهم ماند و نزد همه شما توقف خواهم نمود بجهت ترقی و خوشی ایمان شما،

And Y tristinge this thing, woot that Y schal dwelle, and perfitli dwelle to alle you, to youre profit and ioye of feith,

۲۶ 26 تا فخر شما در مسیح عیسی در من افزوده شودبوسیله آمدن من بار دیگر نزد شما.

that youre thanking abounde in Crist Jhesu in me, bi my comyng eftsoone to you.

۲۷ 27 باری بطور شایسته انجیل مسیح رفتارنمایید تا خواه آیم و شما را بینم و خواه غایب باشم، احوال شما را بشنوم که به یک روح برقرارید و به یک نفس برای ایمان انجیل مجاهده می‌کنید.

Oneli lyue ye worthili to the gospel of Crist, that whether whanne Y come and se you, ethir absent Y here of you, that ye stonden in o spirit of o wille, trauelinge togidere to the feith of the gospel.

۲۸ 28 و در هیچ امری از دشمنان ترسان نیستید که همین برای ایشان دلیل هلاکت است، اما شما را دلیل نجات و این از خداست.

And in no thing be ye aferd of aduersaries, which is to hem cause of perdicioun,

۲۹ 29 زیراکه به شما عطا شد به‌خاطر مسیح نه فقط ایمان آوردن به او بلکه زحمت کشیدن هم برای او. وشما را همان مجاهده است که در من دیدید و الان هم می‌شنوید که در من است.

but to you cause of heelthe. And this thing is of God. For it is youun to you for Crist, that not oneli ye bileuen in hym, but also that ye suffren for hym;

hauynge the same strijf, which ye saien in me, and now ye han herd of me.
