| هللویاه، زیرا خدای ما را سراییدن نیکو است و دل پسند، و تسبیح خواندن شایسته است! | ۱ 1 |
Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
| خداوند اورشلیم را بنامی کند و پراکندگان اسرائیل را جمع می‌نماید. | ۲ 2 |
The LORD buildeth up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
| شکسته دلان را شفا می‌دهد و جراحت های ایشان را می‌بندد. | ۳ 3 |
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
| عدد ستارگان را می‌شمارد وجمیع آنها را به نام می‌خواند. | ۴ 4 |
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
| خداوند ما بزرگ است و قوت او عظیم و حکمت وی غیرمتناهی. | ۵ 5 |
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
| خداوند مسکینان را برمی افرازد و شریران را به زمین می‌اندازد. | ۶ 6 |
The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
| خداوند را با تشکر بسرایید. خدای ما را با بربط سرود بخوانید. | ۷ 7 |
Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp to our God:
| که آسمانهارا با ابرها می‌پوشاند و باران را برای زمین مهیامی نماید و گیاه را بر کوهها می‌رویاند. | ۸ 8 |
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
| که بهایم را آذوقه می‌دهد و بچه های غراب را که او رامی خوانند. | ۹ 9 |
He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
| در قوت اسب رغبت ندارد، و ازساقهای انسان راضی نمی باشد. | ۱۰ 10 |
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
| رضامندی خداوند از ترسندگان وی است و از آنانی که به رحمت وی امیدوارند. | ۱۱ 11 |
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
| ای اورشلیم، خداوند را تسبیح بخوان. ای صهیون، خدای خود را حمد بگو. | ۱۲ 12 |
Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
| زیرا که پشت بندهای دروازه هایت را مستحکم کرده وفرزندانت را در اندرونت مبارک فرموده است. | ۱۳ 13 |
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
| که حدود تو را سلامتی می‌دهد و تو را ازمغز گندم سیر می‌گرداند. | ۱۴ 14 |
He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
| که کلام خود را برزمین فرستاده است و قول او به زودی هر‌چه تمام تر می‌دود. | ۱۵ 15 |
He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
| که برف را مثل پشم می‌باراند، و ژاله را مثل خاکستر می‌پاشد. | ۱۶ 16 |
He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
| که تگرگ خودرا در قطعه‌ها می‌اندازد؛ و کیست که پیش سرمای او تواند ایستاد؟ | ۱۷ 17 |
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
| کلام خود را می‌فرستد وآنها را می‌گدازد. باد خویش را می‌وزاند، پس آبها جاری می‌شود. | ۱۸ 18 |
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
| کلام خود را به یعقوب بیان کرده، و فرایض و داوریهای خویش را به اسرائیل. | ۱۹ 19 |
He showeth his word to Jacob, his statutes and his judgments to Israel.
| با هیچ امتی چنین نکرده است و داوریهای او را ندانسته‌اند. هللویاه! | ۲۰ 20 |
He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
