Psalmów 107
1 Wysławiajcie PANA, bo [jest] dobry, bo jego miłosierdzie [trwa] na wieki.
Give thanks to YHWH, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
2 Niech [to] mówią odkupieni przez PANA, ci, których odkupił z ręki wroga;
Let the redeemed by YHWH say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
3 I zgromadził z ziem, ze wschodu i zachodu, z północy i południa.
And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
4 Błądzili po pustyni, po bezdrożnym pustkowiu, nie znajdując miasta, gdzie mogliby zamieszkać.
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.
5 [Byli] głodni i spragnieni, aż omdlewała w nich dusza.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 A gdy zawołali do PANA w swoim utrapieniu, uwolnił ich z ucisku;
Then they cried to YHWH in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,
7 I prowadził ich prostą drogą, aby doszli do miasta, w którym mogliby zamieszkać.
he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.
8 Niech wysławiają PANA [za] jego miłosierdzie i cudowne dzieła [wobec] synów ludzkich;
Let them praise YHWH for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.
9 Bo napoił spragnioną duszę, a głodną duszę napełnił dobrami.
For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.
10 Siedzieli w ciemności i w cieniu śmierci, spętani nędzą i żelazem;
Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,
11 Bo buntowali się przeciw słowom Boga i pogardzili radą Najwyższego.
because they rebelled against the words of God, and condemned the counsel of the Most High.
12 Dlatego upokorzył ich serce trudem, upadli, a nie było nikogo, kto by im pomógł.
Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was none to help.
13 A [gdy] wołali do PANA w swoim utrapieniu, wybawił ich z ucisku;
Then they cried to YHWH in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 Wyprowadził ich z ciemności i z cienia śmierci, a ich pęta rozerwał.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder.
15 Niech wysławiają PANA [za] jego miłosierdzie i za cudowne dzieła [wobec] synów ludzkich.
Let them praise YHWH for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.
16 Bo skruszył bramy spiżowe i połamał żelazne rygle.
For he has broken the gates of bronze, and cut through bars of iron.
17 Głupcy z powodu swej występnej drogi i nieprawości doznają utrapień.
Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.
18 Ich dusza brzydzi się wszelkim pokarmem i zbliżają się do bram śmierci.
Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.
19 A gdy wołają do PANA w swoim utrapieniu, wybawia ich z udręczeń.
Then they cried to YHWH in their trouble; he saved them out of their distresses.
20 Posłał swoje słowo i uzdrowił ich, i wybawił ich z grobu.
He sent his word and healed them; he delivered them from their traps.
21 Niech wysławiają PANA [za] jego miłosierdzie i cudowne dzieła [wobec] synów ludzkich;
Let them praise YHWH for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.
22 I niech składają ofiary dziękczynienia, i głoszą z radością jego dzieła.
Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.
23 Ci, którzy na statkach wyruszają w morze, handlujący na wielkich wodach;
Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;
24 Widzą dzieła PANA i jego cuda w głębinach.
These see YHWH's works, and his wonders in the deep.
25 Gdy daje rozkaz, powstaje wicher i podnoszą się fale morskie.
For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.
26 Oni wstępują aż [do] nieba i zstępują w głębiny, tak że ich dusza mdleje w niebezpieczeństwie.
They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.
27 Chwieją się i zataczają jak pijany, a cała ich mądrość zanika.
They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.
28 Gdy wołają do PANA w swoim utrapieniu, wybawia ich z udręczeń.
Then they cry to YHWH in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.
29 Zamienia burzę w ciszę, tak że uspokajają się jej fale.
He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.
30 Wtedy oni weselą się, że ucichły; i tak przyprowadza ich do upragnionego portu.
Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.
31 Niech wysławiają PANA [za] jego miłosierdzie i cudowne dzieła [wobec] synów ludzkich.
Let them praise YHWH for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the descendants of Adam.
32 Niech go wywyższają w zgromadzeniu ludu i w radzie starszych niech go chwalą.
Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
33 Zamienia rzeki w pustynię, a źródła wód w suchą ziemię;
He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,
34 Ziemię urodzajną [zamienia] w jałową z powodu niegodziwości tych, którzy w niej mieszkają.
and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
35 Pustynię zamienia w jezioro, a suchą ziemię w źródła wód.
He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.
36 I osadza tam głodnych, aby zakładali miasta do zamieszkania;
There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,
37 I obsiewali pole, sadzili winnice i zbierali obfity plon.
sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.
38 Błogosławi im tak, że bardzo się rozmnażają, i nie zmniejsza [liczebności] ich bydła.
He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn't allow their livestock to decrease.
39 Ale potem maleje ich liczba i upokorzeni są uciskiem, nędzą i utrapieniem;
Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
40 On wylewa wzgardę na władców i sprawia, że błądzą po bezdrożach pustkowia.
He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.
41 Lecz podnosi nędznego z utrapienia i rozmnaża [jego] rodzinę jak stado.
Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.
42 Widząc to, prawi rozweselą się, a wszelka nieprawość zamknie swe usta.
The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.
43 Kto jest tak mądry, aby tego upatrywał i rozumiał litość PANA?
Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of YHWH.
