Salmos 99

1 O Senhor reina; tremam as nações: está assentado entre os cherubins; commova-se a terra.

The Lord reigneth, let the people tremble: he sitteth betweene the Cherubims, let the earth be moued.

2 O Senhor é grande em Sião, e mais alto do que todas as nações.

The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high aboue all the people.

3 Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo, pois é sancto.

They shall prayse thy great and fearefull Name (for it is holy)

4 Tambem o poder do Rei ama o juizo: tu firmas a equidade, fazes juizo e justiça em Jacob.

And the Kings power, that loueth iudgement: for thou hast prepared equitie: thou hast executed iudgement and iustice in Iaakob.

5 Exaltae ao Senhor nosso Deus, e prostrae-vos diante do escabello de seus pés, pois é sancto.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his footestoole: for he is holy.

6 Moysés e Aarão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que invocam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e Elle os ouvia.

Moses and Aaron were among his Priests, and Samuel among such as call vpon his Name: these called vpon the Lord, and he heard them.

7 Na columna de nuvem lhes fallava: elles guardavam os seus testemunhos, e os estatutos que lhes dera.

Hee spake vnto them in the cloudie pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the Lawe that he gaue them.

8 Tu os escutaste, Senhor nosso Deus: tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoaste, ainda que tomaste vingança dos seus feitos.

Thou heardest them, O Lord our God: thou wast a fauourable God vnto them, though thou didst take vengeance for their inuentions.

9 Exaltae ao Senhor nosso Deus e adorae-o no seu monte sancto, pois o Senhor nosso Deus é sancto.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his holy Mountaine: for the Lord our God is holy.
