Salmos 28
1 Salmo de Davi: A ti, SENHOR, rocha minha, eu clamo; não te silencies para comigo; para que não [aconteça de, se] tu calares quanto a mim, eu não [me torne] semelhante aos que descem à cova.
David’s. Unto thee, O Yahweh, do I cry, O my Rock! do not turn in silence from me, —lest, if thou turn from me in silence, I be like them who go down into the pit.
2 Ouve a voz de minhas súplicas, quando eu clamar a ti, ao levantar às minhas mãos ao templo de tua santidade.
Hear the voice of my supplication, when I cry to thee for help, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy shrine.
3 Não me jogues fora com os perversos, nem com os praticantes da maldade, que falam de paz com sem próximo, porém [há] o mal no coração deles.
Do not drag me away—with the lawless, or with the workers of iniquity, —who speak peaceably with their neighbours, but, wrong, is in their heart.
4 Dá-lhes conforme as obras deles, e conforme a maldade de seus atos; dá-lhes conforme a obra das mãos deles, retribui-lhes como eles merecem.
Give them, according to their deed, and, according to the wrong of their practices, —According to the work of their own hands, give thou unto them, Bring back their own dealing to themselves.
5 Porque eles não dão atenção para os atos do SENHOR, nem para a obra de suas mãos; [então] ele os derrubará e não os edificará.
Because they heed not The Deeds of Yahweh, or the Work of his hands, he will pull them down, and not build them.
6 Bendito [seja] o SENHOR, porque ele ouviu a voz de minhas súplicas.
Blessed be Yahweh, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplication.
7 O SENHOR [é] a minha força e meu escudo; meu coração confiou nele, e foi socorrido; por isso meu coração salta de alegria; e com meu canto eu o louvarei.
Yahweh, is my strength and my shield, In him, hath trusted my heart, and I have found help, —Therefore hath my heart danced for joy, and, with my song, do I praise him.
8 O SENHOR [é] a força deles, e o poder das salvações de seu Ungido.
Yahweh, is strength to his people, —And, the all-saving refuge of his Anointed One, is he!
9 Salva a teu povo, e abençoa a tua herança; e apascenta-os, e levanta-os para sempre.
Oh save thy people, and bless thine inheritance, Tend them also, and carry them, Unto times age-abiding.
