2 Korintus 8
1 Toronoo susue nggara, e! Hai nau fo ama mihine Lamatuaꞌ rala malolen, fo Ana natudꞌu basa neu atahori saraniꞌ sia profinsi Makedonia ra.
BUT we make known to you, my brethren, the grace of Aloha which hath been given to the churches of Makedunia;
2 Te mae ara hambu susa-sonaꞌ naen seli o, rala nara ramahoꞌo rakandooꞌ a. Naa de, mae ara toꞌa-taa o, ara feꞌe fee doiꞌ naeꞌ no rala teme-aoꞌ, fo tulu-fali atahori mamahereꞌ laen mana hambu sususa-sosonaꞌ ra sia Yerusalem
that in the great trial of their affliction there hath been an abounding of their joy; and the depth of their poverty hath been exceeded by the riches of their simplicity.
3 Au bisa dui ae, ara fee basa saa fo ara bisa fee. Ma ara fee lenaꞌ naa boe. Esa nda naꞌaꞌsusuuꞌ se sa boe.
For I testify, that according to their power, and more than their power, in the willingness of their soul,
4 Ara mana roꞌe no tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ fo hai soi dalaꞌ soaꞌ neu se. No taꞌo naa, ara bisa tulu-fali atahori mamahereꞌ mana hambu sususa-sosonaꞌ sia Yerusalem.
they besought of us, with much supplication, that they might participate in the beneficence of the ministry for the saints.
5 Dalahulun, hai mimihena ara nau tao taꞌo ia, te saa fo ara taoꞌ naa, lenaꞌ mia saa fo hai mimihenaꞌ a! Kaesan, ara fee ao nara neu hita Lamatuan. Boe ma, ara olaꞌ fai rae, “Hai mae fee ao mara fo tulu-fali nggi, huu naa tungga Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun.”
And not as we had supposed, but they gave themselves up first to the Lord, and also to us by the will of Aloha.
6 Huu atahori saraniꞌ mana sia Makedonia ra ratudꞌu taꞌo naa, naa de hai moꞌe fo Titus baliꞌ neu nggi sia Korintus, naa fo ama bisa tulu-fali Lamatuaꞌ atahorin mana hambu susa-sonaꞌ sia Yerusalem. Te dalahulun ana mana mulai kumbu doiꞌ fee neu se. Ma aleꞌ ia o, hai hule fo ana tao naꞌadaiꞌ hei ue-tatao mara fo tulu-fali atahori boe.
For we would request of Titos, that as he had begun, so he would carry into accomplishment this beneficence among you also.
7 Hei ue-tatao mara soaꞌ neu Lamatuaꞌ malolen seli. Conto onaꞌ: hei nemehere mara manggatee; hei oꞌola malole mara; hei mihine naeꞌ soꞌal Lamatuaꞌ; hei manggate mara, seli; ma hei sue mala hai seli. Naa de au nau fo ama tulu-fali Lamatuaꞌ atahorin mana hambu sususa-sosonaꞌ no fee se doiꞌ naeꞌ.
But as you have excelled in every thing, in faith, and in doctrine, and in knowledge, and in all diligence, and in our love toward you, so also in this beneficence may you excel.
8 Au nda parenda nggi sia Korintus fo fee doiꞌ naeꞌ sa, te au ae sobꞌa nggi. Te atahori saraniꞌ mana sia Makedonia ra rae tulu-fali se ena. Dadꞌi no taꞌo ia hei bisa mitudꞌu mae hei sue tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ atahori mana susa-sonaꞌ ra.
Not as though commanding I command you, but, from the diligence of your companions, the truth of your love would I put to the test.
9 Te hei bubꞌuluꞌ mae, hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus, natudꞌu rala malolen neu nggi ena. Dalahulun Ana onaꞌ atahori mamasuꞌiꞌ. Te Ana nau dadꞌi atahori hata-taaꞌ fo tulu-fali nggi, naa fo ama bisa mimisuꞌi sia dalaꞌ hetar.
FOR you know the beneficence of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, that for your sake he became poor, though he was rich, that you through his poverty might be enriched.
10 Hei mulai kumbu doiꞌ fee se eniꞌ a too mana laoꞌ naa ena. Hei nda fee akaꞌ doiꞌ sa, te ama tulu-fali mia rala mara boe. Dadꞌi tungga au, ama musi tao taꞌo ia:
But counselling I counsel you this which helpeth you; because from the last year you began not to will only, but also to do.
11 Dalahulun hei mae tulu-fali Lamatuaꞌ atahorin mana hambu susa-sonaꞌ sia Yerusalem. Dadꞌi ia naa, fee mibasaꞌ saa fo hei miꞌetuꞌ basa mae tulu-fali mendiꞌ. Ma hei beꞌi fee baꞌu saa, na, fee leo. Te sadꞌi, fee no rala nemehoꞌot.
But now accomplish in work that which you willed, that as there hath been an incitement to will, so accomplish it in work from what you have.
12 Huu mete ma hita fee no rala nemehoꞌot tungga bebeꞌi tara tae fee baꞌu saa na, naa o maloleꞌ boe. Siaꞌ a hita e. Huu atahori mana fee no neꞌesusuuꞌ, na naa mana naꞌasususaꞌ e.
For if there be the will, according to what one hath, so is (he) accepted, and not according to what he hath not.
13 Au nda uꞌena masud tao umubera nggi sa, naa fo atahori laen ra ramanggafa. Te Au masud ngga, basa nggita lemba-doi sususa-sosonaꞌ naa ona esaꞌ.
Neither must there be to others ease, and to you anxiety,
14 Te aleꞌ ia hei hambu lenaꞌ, ma sira nda hambu dai sa. Dei fo ara bisa bala-bꞌae boe, mete ma hei nda hambu dai sa. No taꞌo naa ata bisa lemba-doi belaꞌ.
but in equality be you at this time; that your abundance may be a supply to their want, that also their abundance may be for to your want, that there may be equality.
15 Naa onaꞌ Lamatuaꞌ Susura Meumaren suraꞌ nae, “Atahori mana hambu naeꞌ nda hambu lenaꞌ sira parlu na sa. Ma atahori mana hambu mbeiꞌ a, nda toꞌa-taa mia sira parlu na sa.
As it is written, He who took up much had no superfluity, and he who took up little was not deficient.
16 Au oꞌe makasi mbali Lamatualain, huu Eni mana kokoe-nanasi Titus fo nau tulu-fali nggi, onaꞌ au nau tulu-fali nggi boe.
But praise to Aloha who in-gave this solicitude for you to the heart of Titos.
17 Memaꞌ hai moꞌe fo neti seꞌu nggi. Te, Eni o hii-nau aon boe. Dadꞌi ana nau neti tulu-fali nggi, nda huu au oꞌe sa.
For our request he accepted; and because he had great concern, of his own will he hath come forth among you.
18 Te nda neu mesaꞌ ne sa. Huu hai o denu toronoo ma esa neu namaloloꞌ no e. Basa atahori saraniꞌ mana sia ia ra rahine atahori ia ena, huu ana tao-ues nitaꞌ mamaten dui-bꞌengga neu atahori soꞌal Lamatuaꞌ Hara-lii Malolen.
But we have sent with him our brother, whose praise in the gospel is in all the churches;
19 Atahori Saraniꞌ ra malangga nara o pili rala e fo laoꞌ namaloloꞌ no hai boe, fo tulun hai toꞌu tutulu-fafaliꞌ ra. Hai milalao ue-tataos ia, fo mitudꞌu hita Lamatuan manaselin, ma tao maloleꞌ fee atahori mana susa-sonaꞌ sia Yerusalem.
who hath, moreover, been chosen by the churches to go forth with us with this bounty which is ministered by us to the glory of Aloha himself, and unto our cordiality.
20 Hai sangga dalaꞌ fo tao ndoo-tetuꞌ a, naa fo nda hambu atahori raꞌasasalaꞌ hai rae, hai nda tao no matetuꞌ sa leleꞌ mendi doiꞌ fee neu atahori mana parluꞌ ra.
For we are precautious in this, that no one should lay upon us any imputation
21 Huu hai duduꞌa losa no maloleꞌ fo tao ndoo-tetuꞌ mia hai rala ndoos ma sia Lamatualain matan, boe ma sia atahori matan boe.
with regard to this great bounty which is to be administered by us. For we are careful for the things which are comely, not only before Aloha, but also before men.
22 Naa, hai o denu toronooꞌ esa fai fo neu namaloloꞌ no Titus se fo rendi doiꞌ naa. Hai paresaꞌ e lao hetar ena. De hai bubꞌuluꞌ ana nau ue-tao no manggateeꞌ fee nggi. Ana manggate onaꞌ naa, huu ana bubꞌuluꞌ oi, hei tao ndoo-tetuꞌ.
But we have also sent with them our brother, whom we have often proved in many to be diligent; but now still more diligent from the great confidence he hath concerning you.
23 Mete ma hambu atahori ratane soꞌal Titus, na, mifadꞌe se mae, Titus naa, au toronoo ngga mana tao ues no au nakandooꞌ a fee nggi. Atahori mamahereꞌ sia mamanaꞌ laen o pili rala sira atahorin ena, fo ara tungga se rendi doiꞌ ia ra risiꞌ Yerusalem. Ara raꞌabꞌue fo rae reu ena. Titus naꞌabꞌue no se boe. Dei fo basa se ratudꞌu Kristus manaselin onaꞌ naa.
Whether, then, (you regard) Titos, he is my companion and helper among you, or the other brethren, they are the apostles of the churches of the glory of Meshiha.
24 Dadꞌi hei musi mitudꞌu susue mara neu atahori mana nendi doiꞌ naa. Boe ma mitudꞌu neu se, saa de hai hiiꞌ a olaꞌ koao soꞌal nggi. No taꞌo naa, atahori mamahereꞌ mia atahori sarani sia bee-bꞌee bubꞌuluꞌ tebꞌe rae, hei sue-lai se boe.
Wherefore the demonstration of your love, and of our boasting concerning you in these, make manifest in the sight of all the churches.
