< لُوکَح 19 >

یَدا یِیشُ رْیِرِیہوپُرَں پْرَوِشْیَ تَنْمَدھْیینَ گَچّھَںسْتَدا 1
He entered and was passing through Irikhu.
سَکّییَناما کَرَسَنْچایِناں پْرَدھانو دھَنَوانیکو 2
And look, there was a man named Zakai. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.
یِیشُح کِیدرِگِتِ دْرَشْٹُں چیشْٹِتَوانْ کِنْتُ کھَرْوَّتْوالّوکَسَںگھَمَدھْیے تَدَّرْشَنَمَپْراپْیَ 3
He was trying to see who Yeshua was, and could not because of the crowd, because he was short.
یینَ پَتھا سَ یاسْیَتِ تَتْپَتھےگْرے دھاوِتْوا تَں دْرَشْٹُمْ اُڈُمْبَرَتَرُمارُروہَ۔ 4
He ran on ahead, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way.
پَشْچادْ یِیشُسْتَتْسْتھانَمْ اِتْوا اُورْدّھوَں وِلوکْیَ تَں درِشْٹْواوادِیتْ، ہے سَکّییَ تْوَں شِیگھْرَمَوَروہَ مَیادْیَ تْوَدْگیہے وَسْتَوْیَں۔ 5
And as he came to the place, looking up, Yeshua saw him, and said to him, "Zakai, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house."
تَتَح سَ شِیگھْرَمَوَرُہْیَ ساہْلادَں تَں جَگْراہَ۔ 6
He hurried, came down, and received him joyfully.
تَدْ درِشْٹْوا سَرْوّے وِوَدَمانا وَکْتُماریبھِرے، سوتِتھِتْوینَ دُشْٹَلوکَگرِہَں گَچّھَتِ۔ 7
And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, "He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner."
کِنْتُ سَکّییو دَنْڈایَمانو وَکْتُماریبھے، ہے پْرَبھو پَشْیَ مَمَ یا سَمْپَتِّرَسْتِ تَدَرْدّھَں دَرِدْریبھْیو دَدے، اَپَرَمْ اَنْیایَں کرِتْوا کَسْمادَپِ یَدِ کَداپِ کِنْچِتْ مَیا گرِہِیتَں تَرْہِ تَچَّتُرْگُنَں دَدامِ۔ 8
And Zakai stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much."
تَدا یِیشُسْتَمُکْتَوانْ اَیَمَپِ اِبْراہِیمَح سَنْتانوتَح کارَنادْ اَدْیاسْیَ گرِہے تْرانَمُپَسْتھِتَں۔ 9
Yeshua said to him, "Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Avraham.
یَدْ ہارِتَں تَتْ مرِگَیِتُں رَکْشِتُنْچَ مَنُشْیَپُتْرَ آگَتَوانْ۔ 10
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost."
اَتھَ سَ یِرُوشالَمَح سَمِیپَ اُپاتِشْٹھَدْ اِیشْوَرَراجَتْوَسْیانُشْٹھانَں تَدَیوَ بھَوِشْیَتِیتِ لوکَیرَنْوَبھُویَتَ، تَسْماتْ سَ شْروترِبھْیَح پُنَرْدرِشْٹانْتَکَتھامْ اُتّھاپْیَ کَتھَیاماسَ۔ 11
As they heard these things, he went on and told a parable, because he was near Urishlim, and they supposed that the Kingdom of God would be revealed immediately.
کوپِ مَہالّوکو نِجارْتھَں راجَتْوَپَدَں گرِہِیتْوا پُنَراگَنْتُں دُورَدیشَں جَگامَ۔ 12
He said therefore, "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
یاتْراکالے نِجانْ دَشَداسانْ آہُویَ دَشَسْوَرْنَمُدْرا دَتّوا مَماگَمَنَپَرْیَّنْتَں وانِجْیَں کُرُتیتْیادِدیشَ۔ 13
He called ten servants of his, and gave them ten mina coins, and told them, 'Conduct business until I come.'
کِنْتُ تَسْیَ پْرَجاسْتَمَوَجْنایَ مَنُشْیَمینَمْ اَسْماکَمُپَرِ راجَتْوَں نَ کارَیِوْیامَ اِماں وارْتّاں تَنِّکَٹے پْریرَیاماسُح۔ 14
But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us.'
اَتھَ سَ راجَتْوَپَدَں پْراپْیاگَتَوانْ ایکَیکو جَنو بانِجْیینَ کِں لَبْدھَوانْ اِتِ جْناتُں ییشُ داسیشُ مُدْرا اَرْپَیَتْ تانْ آہُویانیتُمْ آدِدیشَ۔ 15
"It happened when he had come back again, having received the kingdom, that he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by conducting business.
تَدا پْرَتھَمَ آگَتْیَ کَتھِتَوانْ، ہے پْرَبھو تَوَ تَیَیکَیا مُدْرَیا دَشَمُدْرا لَبْدھاح۔ 16
The first came before him, saying, 'Lord, your mina has made ten more minas.'
تَتَح سَ اُواچَ تْوَمُتَّمو داسَح سْوَلْپینَ وِشْواسْیو جاتَ اِتَح کارَناتْ تْوَں دَشَنَگَرانامْ اَدھِپو بھَوَ۔ 17
"And he said to him, 'Well done, good servant. Because you were faithful with very little, you will have authority over ten cities.'
دْوِتِییَ آگَتْیَ کَتھِتَوانْ، ہے پْرَبھو تَوَیکَیا مُدْرَیا پَنْچَمُدْرا لَبْدھاح۔ 18
"The second came, saying, 'Your mina, Lord, has made five minas.'
تَتَح سَ اُواچَ، تْوَں پَنْچاناں نَگَرانامَدھِپَتِ رْبھَوَ۔ 19
"So he said to him, 'And you are to be over five cities.'
تَتونْیَ آگَتْیَ کَتھَیاماسَ، ہے پْرَبھو پَشْیَ تَوَ یا مُدْرا اَہَں وَسْتْرے بَدّھواسْتھاپَیَں سییَں۔ 20
Another came, saying, 'Lord, look, your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief,
تْوَں کرِپَنو یَنّاسْتھاپَیَسْتَدَپِ گرِہْلاسِ، یَنّاوَپَسْتَدیوَ چَ چھِنَتْسِ تَتوہَں تْوَتّو بھِیتَح۔ 21
for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which you did not lay down, and reap that which you did not sow.'
تَدا سَ جَگادَ، رے دُشْٹَداسَ تَوَ واکْیینَ تْواں دوشِنَں کَرِشْیامِ، یَدَہَں ناسْتھاپَیَں تَدیوَ گرِہْلامِ، یَدَہَں ناوَپَنْچَ تَدیوَ چھِنَدْمِ، ایتادرِشَح کرِپَنوہَمِتِ یَدِ تْوَں جاناسِ، 22
"He said to him, 'Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I did not lay down, and reaping that which I did not sow.
تَرْہِ مَمَ مُدْرا بَنِجاں نِکَٹے کُتو ناسْتھاپَیَح؟ تَیا کرِتےہَمْ آگَتْیَ کُسِیدینَ سارْدّھَں نِجَمُدْرا اَپْراپْسْیَمْ۔ 23
Then why did you not deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?'
پَشْچاتْ سَ سَمِیپَسْتھانْ جَنانْ آجْناپَیَتْ اَسْماتْ مُدْرا آنِییَ یَسْیَ دَشَمُدْراح سَنْتِ تَسْمَے دَتَّ۔ 24
He said to those who stood by, 'Take the mina away from him, and give it to him who has the ten minas.'
تے پْروچُح پْرَبھوسْیَ دَشَمُدْراح سَنْتِ۔ 25
"They said to him, 'Lord, he has ten minas.'
یُشْمانَہَں وَدامِ یَسْیاشْرَیے وَدّھَتے دھِکَں تَسْمَے دایِشْیَتے، کِنْتُ یَسْیاشْرَیے نَ وَرْدّھَتے تَسْیَ یَدْیَدَسْتِ تَدَپِ تَسْمانْ نایِشْیَتے۔ 26
'For I tell you that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who does not have, even that which he has will be taken away.
کِنْتُ مَمادھِپَتِتْوَسْیَ وَشَتْوے سْتھاتُمْ اَسَمَّنْیَمانا یے مَمَ رِپَوَسْتانانِییَ مَمَ سَمَکْشَں سَںہَرَتَ۔ 27
But bring those enemies of mine who did not want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.'"
اِتْیُپَدیشَکَتھاں کَتھَیِتْوا سوگْرَگَح سَنْ یِرُوشالَمَپُرَں یَیَو۔ 28
Having said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Urishlim.
تَتو بَیتْپھَگِیبَیتھَنِییاگْرامَیوح سَمِیپے جَیتُنادْریرَنْتِکَمْ اِتْوا شِشْیَدْوَیَمْ اِتْیُکْتْوا پْریشَیاماسَ، 29
It happened, when he drew near to Beth-Pageh and Beth-Naiya, at the mountain that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples,
یُوامَمُں سَمُّکھَسْتھَگْرامَں پْرَوِشْیَیوَ یَں کوپِ مانُشَح کَداپِ ناروہَتْ تَں گَرْدَّبھَشاوَکَں بَدّھَں دْرَکْشْیَتھَسْتَں موچَیِتْوانَیَتَں۔ 30
saying, "Go your way into the village on the other side, in which, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, whereon no one ever yet sat. Untie it, and bring it.
تَتْرَ کُتو موچَیَتھَح؟ اِتِ چیتْ کوپِ وَکْشْیَتِ تَرْہِ وَکْشْیَتھَح پْرَبھےرَتْرَ پْرَیوجَنَمْ آسْتے۔ 31
If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' say to him: 'Because the Lord needs it.'"
تَدا تَو پْرَرِتَو گَتْوا تَتْکَتھانُسارینَ سَرْوَّں پْراپْتَو۔ 32
Those who were sent went away, and found things just as he had told them.
گَرْدَبھَشاوَکَموچَنَکالے تَتْوامِنَ اُوچُح، گَرْدَبھَشاوَکَں کُتو موچَیَتھَح؟ 33
As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, "Why are you untying the colt?"
تاوُوچَتُح پْرَبھورَتْرَ پْرَیوجَنَمْ آسْتے۔ 34
They said, "Because the Lord needs it."
پَشْچاتْ تَو تَں گَرْدَبھَشاوَکَں یِیشورَنْتِکَمانِییَ تَتْپرِشْٹھے نِجَوَسَنانِ پاتَیِتْوا تَدُپَرِ یِیشُماروہَیاماسَتُح۔ 35
They brought it to Yeshua. They threw their cloaks on the colt, and set Yeshua on them.
اَتھَ یاتْراکالے لوکاح پَتھِ سْوَوَسْتْرانِ پاتَیِتُمْ آریبھِرے۔ 36
As he went, they spread their cloaks in the way.
اَپَرَں جَیتُنادْریرُپَتْیَکامْ اِتْوا شِشْیَسَںگھَح پُورْوَّدرِشْٹانِ مَہاکَرْمّانِ سْمرِتْوا، 37
As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
یو راجا پْرَبھو رْنامْنایاتِ سَ دھَنْیَح سْوَرْگے کُشَلَں سَرْوّوچّے جَیَدھْوَنِ رْبھَوَتُ، کَتھامیتاں کَتھَیِتْوا سانَنْدَمْ اُچَیرِیشْوَرَں دھَنْیَں وَکْتُماریبھے۔ 38
saying, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord. Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest."
تَدا لوکارَنْیَمَدھْیَسْتھاح کِیَنْتَح پھِرُوشِنَسْتَتْ شْرُتْوا یِیشُں پْروچُح، ہے اُپَدیشَکَ سْوَشِشْیانْ تَرْجَیَ۔ 39
Some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to him, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples."
سَ اُواچَ، یُشْمانَہَں وَدامِ یَدْیَمِی نِیرَواسْتِشْٹھَنْتِ تَرْہِ پاشانا اُچَیح کَتھاح کَتھَیِشْیَنْتِ۔ 40
He answered them, "I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out."
پَشْچاتْ تَتْپُرانْتِکَمیتْیَ تَدَوَلوکْیَ ساشْرُپاتَں جَگادَ، 41
When he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it,
ہا ہا چیتْ تْوَمَگْرےجْناسْیَتھاح، تَواسْمِنّیوَ دِنے وا یَدِ سْوَمَنْگَلَمْ اُپالَپْسْیَتھاح، تَرْہْیُتَّمَمْ اَبھَوِشْیَتْ، کِنْتُ کْشَنیسْمِنْ تَتَّوَ درِشْٹیرَگوچَرَمْ بھَوَتِ۔ 42
saying, "If you, even you, had known today the things that make for peace. But now, they are hidden from your eyes.
تْوَں سْوَتْرانَکالے نَ مَنو نْیَدھَتّھا اِتِ ہیتو رْیَتْکالے تَوَ رِپَوَسْتْواں چَتُرْدِکْشُ پْراچِیرینَ ویشْٹَیِتْوا روتْسْیَنْتِ 43
For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,
بالَکَیح سارْدّھَں بھُومِساتْ کَرِشْیَنْتِ چَ تْوَنْمَدھْیے پاشانَیکوپِ پاشانوپَرِ نَ سْتھاسْیَتِ چَ، کالَ اِیدرِشَ اُپَسْتھاسْیَتِ۔ 44
and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you did not know the time of your visitation."
اَتھَ مَدھْییمَنْدِرَں پْرَوِشْیَ تَتْرَتْیانْ کْرَیِوِکْرَیِنو بَہِشْکُرْوَّنْ 45
And he entered into the temple, and began to drive out those who were selling and buying in it,
اَوَدَتْ مَدْگرِہَں پْرارْتھَناگرِہَمِتِ لِپِراسْتے کِنْتُ یُویَں تَدیوَ چَیراناں گَہْوَرَں کُرُتھَ۔ 46
saying to them, "It is written, 'And my house will be a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of robbers'."
پَشْچاتْ سَ پْرَتْیَہَں مَدھْییمَنْدِرَمْ اُپَدِدیشَ؛ تَتَح پْرَدھانَیاجَکا اَدھْیاپَکاح پْراچِیناشْچَ تَں ناشَیِتُں چِچیشْٹِرے؛ 47
He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests and the scribes and the leaders among the people sought to destroy him.
کِنْتُ تَدُپَدیشے سَرْوّے لوکا نِوِشْٹَچِتّاح سْتھِتاسْتَسْماتْ تے تَتْکَرْتُّں ناوَکاشَں پْراپُح۔ 48
They could not find what they might do, for all the people hung on to every word that he said.
