Приче Соломонове 2

1 Сине мој, ако примиш речи моје, и заповести моје сахраниш код себе,

2 Да пази ухо твоје на мудрост, и пригнеш срце своје к разуму,

to/for to listen to/for wisdom ear your to stretch heart your to/for understanding

3 Ако призовеш мудрост, и к разуму подигнеш глас свој,

that if: except if: except to/for understanding to call: call out to/for understanding to give: cry out voice your

4 Ако га устражиш као сребро, и као сакривено благо ако добро устражиш;

if to seek her like/as silver: money and like/as treasure to search her

5 Тада ћеш разумети страх Господњи, и познање Божије наћи ћеш.

then to understand fear LORD and knowledge God to find

6 Јер Господ даје мудрост, из Његових уста долази знање и разум.

for LORD to give: give wisdom from lip his knowledge and understanding

7 Чува правима шта доиста јесте, штит је онима који ходе у безазлености,

(to treasure *QK) to/for upright wisdom shield to/for to go: walk integrity

8 Да би се држали стаза правих, а Он чува пут светаца својих.

to/for to watch way justice and way: journey (pious his *QK) to keep: guard

9 Тада ћеш разумети правду и суд и шта је право, и сваки добри пут.

then to understand righteousness and justice and uprightness all track good

10 Кад дође мудрост у срце твоје, и знање омили души твојој,

for to come (in): come wisdom in/on/with heart your and knowledge to/for soul your be pleasant

11 Помњивост ће пазити на те, разум ће те чувати,

plot to keep: guard upon you understanding to watch him

12 Избављајући те од зла пута, од људи који говоре опаке ствари,

to/for to rescue you from way: conduct bad: evil from man: anyone to speak: speak perversity

13 Који остављају праве путе да иду путевима мрачним,

[the] to leave: forsake way uprightness to/for to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct darkness

14 Који се радују зло чинећи, и играју у злим опачинама;

[the] glad to/for to make: do bad: evil to rejoice in/on/with perversity bad: evil

15 Којих су путеви криви, и сами су опаки на стазама својим;

which way their twisted and be devious in/on/with track their

16 Избављајући те од жене туђе, од туђинке, која ласка својим речима,

to/for to rescue you from woman be a stranger from foreign word her to smooth

17 Која оставља вођу младости своје, и заборавља завет Бога свог.

18 Јер к смрти води дом њен, и к мртвима стазе њене.

19 Ко год уђе к њој не враћа се, нити излази на пут животни.

20 Зато ходи путем добрих, и држи се стаза праведничких.

21 Јер ће праведници наставати на земљи, и безазлени ће остати на њој.

for upright to dwell land: country/planet and unblemished: blameless to remain in/on/with her

22 А безбожни ће се истребити са земље, и безаконици ће се ишчупати из ње.

and wicked from land: country/planet to cut: eliminate and to act treacherously to pull from her
