Salmos 142

1 Con mi voz clamaré a Jehová: con mi voz pediré misericordia a Jehová.

I cry with my voice to Jehovah. With my voice to Jehovah I make supplication.

2 Delante de él derramaré mi querella: delante de él denunciaré mi angustia.

I pour out my complaint before him. I show my trouble before him.

3 Cuando mi espíritu se angustiaba dentro de mí, tu conociste mi senda: en el camino en que andaba, me escondieron lazo.

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, thou knew my path. In the way in which I walk they have hidden a snare for me.

4 Consideraba hacia mi mano derecha y miraba, y no había quien me conociese: no tuve refugio, no había quien volviese por mi vida.

Look on my right hand, and see, for there is no man who knows me. Refuge has failed me. No man cares for my soul.

5 Clamé a ti, o! Jehová; dije: Tú eres mi esperanza, y mi porción en la tierra de los vivientes.

I cried to thee, O Jehovah. I said, Thou are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.

6 Escucha mi clamor, que estoy afligido mucho: escápame de los que me persiguen; porque son más fuertes que yo.

Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I.

7 Saca mi alma de la cárcel, para que alabe tu nombre: conmigo se coronarán los justos, cuando me hubieres hecho bien.

Bring my soul out of prison that I may give thanks to thy name. The righteous shall encompass me around, for thou will deal bountifully with me.
