Salmos 20

1 Oígate, Jehová, en el día de la angustia: ensálcete el nombre del Dios de Jacob.

For the Leader. A Psalm of David. The LORD answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob set thee up on high;

2 Envíete ayuda desde el santuario, y desde Sión te sustente.

Send forth thy help from the sanctuary, and support thee out of Zion;

3 Tenga memoria de todos tus presentes, y encenice tu holocausto. (Selah)

Receive the memorial of all thy meal-offerings, and accept the fat of thy burnt-sacrifice; (Selah)

4 Déte conforme a tu corazón, y cumpla todo tu consejo.

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 Alegrarnos hemos con tu salud, y en el nombre de nuestro Dios alzarémos pendón: cumpla Jehová todas tus peticiones.

We will shout for joy in thy victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our standards; the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

6 Ahora he conocido que Jehová ha guardado a su ungido: oírle ha desde los cielos de su santidad con las valentías de la salud de su diestra.

Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the mighty acts of His saving right hand.

7 Estos en carros, y aquellos en caballos confían: mas nosotros del nombre de Jehová nuestro Dios tendremos memoria.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will make mention of the name of the LORD our God.

8 Estos arrodillaron, y cayeron: mas nosotros nos levantamos, y nos enhestamos.

They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen, and stand upright.

9 Jehová, salva: que el rey nos oiga el día que le invocáremos.

Save, LORD; let the King answer us in the day that we call.
