2 Mosebok 10
1 Därefter sade HERREN till Mose: "Gå till Farao; ty jag har tillslutit hans och hans tjänares hjärtan, för att jag skulle göra dessa mina tecken mitt ibland dem,
And the Lord seide to Moises, Entre thou to Farao, for Y haue maad hard the herte of hym, and of hise seruauntis, that Y do these signes `of me in hym;
2 och för att du sedan skulle kunna förtälja för din son och din sonson vilka stora gärningar jag har utfört bland egyptierna, och vilka tecken jag har gjort bland dem, så att I förnimmen att jag är HERREN."
and that thou telle in the eeris of thi sone and of `thi sones sones, how ofte Y al to-brak Egipcians, and dide signes in hem; and that ye wyte that Y am the Lord.
3 Då gingo Mose och Aron till Farao och sade till honom: "Så säger HERREN, hebréernas Gud: Huru länge vill du vara motsträvig och icke ödmjuka dig inför mig? Släpp mitt folk, så att de kunna hålla gudstjänst åt mig.
Therfore Moises and Aaron entriden to Farao, and seiden to hym, The Lord God of Ebrews seith these thingis, How long `nylt thou be maad suget to me? Delyuere thou my puple, that it make sacrifice to me; ellis sotheli if thou ayenstondist,
4 Ty om du icke vill släppa mitt folk, se, då skall jag i morgon låta gräshoppor komma över ditt land.
and nylt delyuere it, lo! Y schal brynge in to morewe a locuste in to thi coostis,
5 Och de skola övertäcka marken så att man icke kan se marken; och de skola äta upp återstoden av den kvarleva som har blivit över åt eder efter haglet, och de skola aväta alla edra träd, som växa på marken.
which schal hile the hiyere part of erthe, nether ony thing therof schal appere, but that, that was `residue to the hail schal be etun; for it schal gnawe alle the trees that buriounnen in feeldis;
6 Och dina hus skola bliva uppfyllda av dem, så ock alla dina tjänares hus och alla egyptiers hus, så att dina fäder och dina faders fäder icke hava sett något sådant, från den dag de blevo till på jorden ända till denna dag." Och han vände sig om och gick ut ifrån Farao.
and tho schulen fille thin howsis, and the howsis of thi seruauntis, and of alle Egipcians, hou greet thi fadris and grauntsiris sien not, sithen thei weren borun on erthe, til in to present dai. And Moises turnede awei hym silf, and yede out fro Farao.
7 Men Faraos tjänare sade till honom: "Huru länge skall denne vara oss till förfång? Släpp männen, så att de kunna hålla gudstjänst åt HERREN, sin Gud. Inser du icke ännu att Egypten bliver fördärvat?"
Forsothe the seruauntis of Farao seiden to hym, Hou longe schulen we suffre this sclaundre? Delyuere the men, that thei make sacrifice to `her Lord God; seest thou not that Egipt perischide?
8 Då hämtade man Mose och Aron tillbaka till Farao. Och han sade till dem: "I mån gå åstad och hålla gudstjänst åt HERREN, eder Gud. Men vilka äro nu de som skola gå?"
And thei ayen clepiden Moises and Aaron to Farao, and he seide to hem, Go ye, and make ye sacrifice to `youre Lord God; whiche ben thei, that schulen go?
9 Mose svarade: "Vi vilja gå både unga och gamla; vi vilja gå med söner och döttrar, med får och fäkreatur; ty en HERRENS högtid skola vi hålla."
Moises seide, We schulen go with oure litle children and eldre, and with sones, and douytris, with scheep, and grete beestis; for it is the solempnyte of `oure Lord God.
10 Då sade han till dem: "Må HERREN: vara med eder lika visst som jag släpper eder med edra kvinnor och barn! Där ser man att I haven ont i sinnet!
And Farao answeride, So the Lord be with you; hou therfor schal Y delyuere you and youre litle children? to whom is it doute, that ye thenken worst?
11 Nej; I män mån gå åstad och hålla gudstjänst åt HERREN; det var ju detta som I begärden." Och man drev dem ut ifrån Farao.
It schal `not be so; but go ye men oneli, and make ye sacrifice to the Lord; for also ye axiden this. And anoon thei weren cast out fro the siyt of Farao.
12 Och HERREN sade till Mose: "Räck ut din hand över Egyptens land, så att gräshoppor komma över Egyptens land och äta upp alla örter i landet, allt vad haglet har lämnat kvar."
Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Holde forth thi hond on the lond of Egipt, to a locust, that it stie on the lond, and deuoure al the eerbe which is residue to the hail.
13 Då räckte Mose ut sin stav över Egyptens land, och HERREN lät en östanvind blåsa över landet hela den dagen och hela natten; och när det blev morgon, förde östanvinden gräshopporna fram med sig.
And Moises helde forthe the yerde on the lond of Egipt, and the Lord brouyte in a brennynge wynd al that dai and niyt; and whanne the morewtid was maad, the brennynge wynd reiside locustis, whiche stieden on al the lond of Egipt,
14 Och gräshopporna kommo över hela Egyptens land och slogo i stor mängd ned över hela Egyptens område; en sådan myckenhet av gräshoppor hade aldrig tillförne kommit och skall icke heller hädanefter komma.
and saten in alle the coostis of Egipcians; `and the locustis weren vnnoumbrable, and suche weren not bifore that tyme, nether schulen come aftirward.
15 De övertäckte hela marken, så att marken blev mörk; och de åto upp alla örter i landet och all frukt på träden, allt som haglet hade lämnat kvar; intet grönt blev kvar på träden eller på markens örter i hela Egyptens land.
And tho hiliden al the face of the erthe, and wastiden alle thingis; therfor the eerbe of the erthe was deuourid, and what euere of applis was in trees, whiche the hail hadde left, `it was deuourid; and outirli no green thing was left in trees and in eerbis of erthe, in al Egipt.
16 Då kallade Farao med hast Mose och Aron till sig och sade: "Jag har syndat mot HERREN, eder Gud, och mot eder.
Wherfor Farao hastide, and clepide Moises and Aaron, and seide to hem, Y haue synned ayens youre Lord God, and ayens yow;
17 Men förlåt nu min synd denna enda gång; och bedjen till HERREN, eder Gud, att han avvänder allenast denna dödsplåga ifrån mig."
but now foryyue ye the synne to me; also in this tyme preie ye youre Lord God, that he take awey fro me this deeth.
18 Då gick han ut ifrån Farao och bad till HERREN.
And Moises yede out of the siyt of Farao, and preiede the Lord;
19 Och HERREN vände om vinden och lät en mycket stark västanvind komma; denna fattade i gräshopporna och kastade dem i Röda havet, så att icke en enda gräshoppa blev kvar inom Egyptens hela område.
which made a moost strong wynd to blowe fro the west, and took, and castide the locust in to the reed see; `noon dwellide, sotheli nether oon, in alle the coostis of Egipt.
20 Men HERREN förstockade Faraos hjärta, så att han icke släppte Israels barn.
And the Lord made hard the herte of Farao, and he lefte not the sones of Israel.
21 Därefter sade HERREN till Mose: "Räck din hand upp mot himmelen, så skall över Egyptens land komma ett sådant mörker, att man kan taga på det."
Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Holde forth thin hond in to heuene, and derknessis be on the lond of Egipt, so thicke that tho moun be gropid.
22 Då räckte Mose sin hand upp mot himmelen, och ett tjockt mörker kom över hela Egyptens land i tre dagar.
And Moises helde forth the hond in to heuene, and orrible derknessis weren maad in al the lond of Egipt;
23 Ingen kunde se den andre, och ingen kunde röra sig från sin plats i tre dagar. Men alla Israels barn hade ljust där de bodde.
in thre daies no man seiy his brother, nether mouede him silf fro that place in which he was. Whereuer the sones of Israel dwelliden, liyt was.
24 Då kallade Farao Mose till sig och sade: "Gån åstad och hållen gudstjänst åt HERREN; låten allenast edra får och fäkreatur bliva kvar. Också edra kvinnor och barn må gå med eder."
And Farao clepide Moises and Aaron, and seide to hem, Go ye, make ye sacrifice to the Lord; oneli youre scheep and grete beestis dwelle stille; youre litle children go with you.
25 Men Mose sade: "Du måste ock låta oss få slaktoffer och brännoffer att offra åt HERREN, vår Gud.
Moises seide, Also thou schalt yyue to vs offryngis and brent sacrifices, whiche we schulen offre to `oure Lord God;
26 Också vår boskap måste gå med oss, och icke en klöv får bliva kvar; ty därav måste vi taga det varmed vi skola hålla gudstjänst åt HERREN, vår Gud. Och förrän vi komma dit, veta vi själva icke vad vi böra offra åt HERREN."
alle the flockis schulen go with vs, for `a cle schal not dwelle of tho thingis, that ben nedeful in to the worschipyng of `oure Lord God, moost sithen we witen not what owith to be offrid, til we comen to that place.
27 Men HERREN förstockade Faraos hjärta, så att han icke ville släppa dem.
Forsothe the Lord made hard the herte of Farao, and he nolde delyuere hem.
28 Och Farao sade till honom: "Gå bort ifrån mig, och tag dig till vara för att ännu en gång komma inför mitt ansikte; ty på den dag du kommer inför mitt ansikte skall du dö."
And Farao seide to Moises, Go awei fro me, and be war that thou se no more my face; in whateuer dai thou schalt appere to me, thou schalt die.
29 Mose svarade: "Du har talat rätt; jag skall icke vidare komma inför ditt ansikte."
Moyses answeride, Be it doon so, as thou hast spokun; I schal no more se thi face.
