சங்கீதம் 27

1 ௧ தாவீதின் பாடல். யெகோவா என் வெளிச்சமும் என் இரட்சிப்புமானவர், யாருக்குப் பயப்படுவேன்? யெகோவா என் வாழ்வின் அடைக்கலமானவர், யாருக்கு பயப்படுவேன்?

“A psalm of David.” The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the shield of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

2 ௨ என்னுடைய எதிரிகளும் என்னுடைய பகைவர்களுமாகிய பொல்லாதவர்கள் என் சரீரத்தை விழுங்க, என்னை நெருங்கும்போது அவர்களே இடறிவிழுந்தார்கள்.

When the wicked came upon me to devour me, Even my persecutors and enemies, they stumbled and fell.

3 ௩ எனக்கு விரோதமாக ஒரு இராணுவம் முகாமிட்டாலும், என் இருதயம் பயப்படாது; என்மேல் போர் எழும்பினாலும், இதிலே நான் நம்பிக்கையாக இருப்பேன்.

Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; Though war should rise against me, yet will I be confident.

4 ௪ கர்த்தரிடத்தில் ஒன்றை நான் கேட்டேன், அதையே நாடுவேன்; நான் யெகோவாவுடைய மகிமையைப் பார்க்கும்படியாகவும், அவருடைய ஆலயத்தில் ஆராய்ச்சி செய்யும்படியாகவும், நான் என்னுடைய உயிருள்ள நாட்களெல்லாம் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தில் தங்கியிருப்பதையே நாடுவேன்.

One thing have I desired of the LORD; that do I yet seek; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the grace of the LORD, And to gaze upon his temple.

5 ௫ தீங்குநாளில் அவர் என்னைத் தம்முடைய கூடாரத்தில் மறைத்து, என்னைத் தமது கூடார மறைவிலே ஒளித்துவைத்து, என்னைக் கன்மலையின்மேல் உயர்த்துவார்.

For in the day of trouble he will hide me in his pavilion; Yea, in the secret place of his tabernacle will he shelter me; He will set me upon a rock.

6 ௬ இப்பொழுது என் தலை என்னைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற என் எதிரிகளுக்கு மேலாக உயர்த்தப்படும்; அதற்காக அவருடைய கூடாரத்திலே நான் ஆனந்தபலிகளையிட்டு, யெகோவாவைப் பாடுவேன், அவரைப் புகழ்ந்துபாடுவேன்.

Yea, already doth he lift my head above my enemies, who are around me; Therefore in his tabernacle will I offer sacrifices with the sound of trumpets; I will sing, yea, with instruments of music I will give praise to the LORD.

7 ௭ யெகோவாவே, நான் கூப்பிடுகிற சத்தத்தை நீர் கேட்டு, எனக்கு இரங்கி, எனக்கு பதில் தாரும்.

Hear my voice, O LORD! when I cry unto thee; Have pity upon me, and answer me!

8 ௮ என்னுடைய முகத்தைத் தேடுங்கள் என்று சொன்னீரே, உம்முடைய முகத்தையே தேடுவேன் யெகோவாவே என்று என்னுடைய இருதயம் உம்மிடத்தில் சொன்னது.

When I think of thy precept, “Seek ye my face!” Thy face, LORD, do I seek.

9 ௯ உமது முகத்தை எனக்கு மறைக்கவேண்டாம்; நீர் கோபத்துடன் உமது அடியேனை விலக்கிப்போடவேண்டாம்; நீரே எனக்கு உதவி செய்பவர்; என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் தேவனே, என்னைத் தள்ளிவிடாமலிரும் என்னைக் கைவிடாமலிரும்.

O hide not thou thy face from me; Cast not thy servant away in displeasure! Thou hast been my help, do not leave me; Do not forsake me, O God, my helper!

10 ௧0 என் தகப்பனும் என் தாயும் என்னைக் கைவிட்டாலும், யெகோவா என்னைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுவார்.

For my father and my mother have forsaken me; But the LORD will take me up.

11 ௧௧ யெகோவாவே, உமது வழியை எனக்குப் போதியும், என்னுடைய எதிராளிகளினிமித்தம் சரியான பாதையில் என்னை நடத்தும்.

Teach me thy way, O LORD! And lead me in the right path, because of my enemies!

12 ௧௨ என் எதிரிகளின் விருப்பத்திற்கு என்னை ஒப்புக் கொடுக்கவேண்டாம்; பொய்ச்சாட்சிகளும் ஆக்கிரமித்துச் சீறுகிறவர்களும் எனக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்பியிருக்கிறார்கள்.

Give me not up to the will of my adversaries! For false witnesses have risen up against me, And such as breathe out injustice.

13 ௧௩ நானோ, உயிருள்ளவர்களின் தேசத்திலே யெகோவாவுடைய நன்மையைக் காண்பேன் என்று விசுவாசித்தேன்.

I trust that I shall see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Hope thou in the LORD!

14 ௧௪ யெகோவாவுக்குக் காத்திரு, தைரியமாக இரு, அவர் உன்னுடைய இருதயத்தை நிலையாக நிறுத்துவார், கர்த்தருக்கே காத்திரு.

Be of good courage; let thy heart be strong; Hope thou in the LORD!
