Від Івана 17

1 Се глаголав Ісус, і вняв очі свої на небо, й рече: Отче! прийшла година; прослав Сина Твого, щоб і Син Твій прославив Тебе.

These things Jesus spoke, and lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee;

2 Яко ж дав єси Йому власть над усяким тїлом, щоб усїм, що дав єси Йому, дав вічне життє. (aiōnios g166)

as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that [as to] all that thou hast given to him, he should give them life eternal. (aiōnios g166)

3 Се ж життє вічне в тому щоб знали Тебе, єдиного справдешного Бога, та кого післав єси, Ісуса Христа. (aiōnios g166)

And this is the eternal life, that they should know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios g166)

4 Я прославив Тебе на землі: дїло кінчав я, що дав єси менї робити.

I have glorified thee on the earth, I have completed the work which thou gavest me that I should do it;

5 А тепер прослав мене Ти, Отче, у Тебе самого славою, що мав я в Тебе, І перш нїж сьвіту бути.

and now glorify me, thou Father, along with thyself, with the glory which I had along with thee before the world was.

6 Обявив я імя Твоє людям, що дав єси менї з сьвіта. Твої буди вони, а Ти менї їх дав, і слово Твоє хоронили вони.

I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world. They were thine, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word.

7 Тепер зрозуміли вони, що, скільки дав єси менї, все від Тебе.

Now they have known that all things that thou hast given me are of thee;

8 Бо слова, що дав єси менї, дав я їм; і вони прийняли й зрозуміли справді, що від Тебе прийшов я, і увірували, що Ти мене післав.

for the words which thou hast given me I have given them, and they have received [them], and have known truly that I came out from thee, and have believed that thou sentest me.

9 Я про них молю, не про сьвіт молю, а про тих, що дав єси менї, бо вони Твої.

I demand concerning them; I do not demand concerning the world, but concerning those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine,

10 І все моє Твоє, і Твоє моє, і я прославив ся в них.

(and all that is mine is thine, and [all] that is thine mine, ) and I am glorified in them.

11 І вже більш я не в сьвітї, а сї в сьвітї, і я до Тебе йду. Отче сьвятий, збережи їх в імя Твоє, тих, котрих дав єси менї, щоб були одно, яко ж ми.

And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we.

12 Як був я з ними на сьвітї, я беріг їх в імя Твоє; котрих дав єси менї, стеріг я, і нїхто з них не погиб, тільки Син погибельний, щоб писаннє справдилось.

When I was with them I kept them in thy name; those thou hast given me I have guarded, and not one of them has perished, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 Тепер же до Тебе йду, і се глаголю в сьвітї, щоб мали радість мою повну в собі.

And now I come to thee. And these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.

14 Я дав їм слово Твоє, і сьвіт зненавидів їх, бо вони не з сьвіта, яко ж я не з сьвіта.

I have given them thy word, and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

15 Не молю, щоб узяв їх із сьвіта, а щоб зберіг їх од зла.

I do not demand that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them out of evil.

16 Не з сьвіта вони, яко ж я не з сьвіта.

They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

17 Освяти їх правдою Твоєю; слово Твоє правда.

Sanctify them by the truth: thy word is truth.

18 Як мене післав єси в сьвіт, і я післав їх у сьвіт.

As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world;

19 І за них я посьвячую себе, щоб і вони були осьвячені правдою.

and I sanctify myself for them, that they also may be sanctified by truth.

20 Не про сих же тільки молю, а також і про тих, що задля слова їх увірують у мене,

And I do not demand for these only, but also for those who believe on me through their word;

21 щоб усї одно були: яко ж Ти, Отче, в менї і я в Тобі, щоб і вони в нас одно були, щоб сьвіт увірував, що Ти мене післав єси.

that they may be all one, as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 І славу, що дав єси менї, дав я їм, щоб були одно, яко ми одно.

And the glory which thou hast given me I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one;

23 Я в них і Ти в менї, щоб були звершені в одно, і щоб зрозумів сьвіт, що Ти мене післав єси і полюбив їх, яко ж мене полюбив єси.

I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one [and] that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and [that] thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

24 Отче, которих дав єси менї, хочу, щоб, де я, і вони були зо мною, щоб видїли славу мою, що дав єси менї; бо полюбив єси мене перш основання сьвіта.

Father, [as to] those whom thou hast given me, I desire that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before [the] foundation of [the] world.

25 Отче праведний, і сьвіт Тебе не пізнав, я ж пізнав Тебе, і сї пізнали, що Ти мене післав.

Righteous Father, — and the world has not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 І я обявив їм імя Твоє, і обявляти му, щоб любов, якою любив єси мене, в них була, а я в них.

And I have made known to them thy name, and will make [it] known; that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them.
