< Revelation 9 >

1 Mbasi yi ntanu yisika tulumbeta, buna ndimona mbuetete yimosi yiba ku diyilu yidoduka va ntoto ayi bamvana tsabi yi dibulu di diyenga. (Abyssos g12)
The fifth angel blew his trumpet; and I saw a Star which had fallen from Heaven to the earth; and to him was given the key of the depths of the bottomless pit, (Abyssos g12)
2 Niandi wuzibula dibulu di diyenga ayi muisi wutotuka mu dibulu wuba banga muisi wu nludi wu mbazu yinneni. Buna muisi wu dibulu wunombisa thangu ayi phemo. (Abyssos g12)
and he opened the depths of the bottomless pit. And smoke came up out of the pit resembling the smoke of a vast furnace, so that the sun was darkened, and the air also, by reason of the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos g12)
3 Makhoko matotukila mu muisi beni; mawu matembakana va ntoto ayi matambula lulendo lolo ludedikini banga lu zikhutu zi ntoto.
And from the midst of the smoke there came locusts on to the earth, and power was given to them resembling the power which earthly scorpions possess.
4 Mawu makambu ti mabika vanga mbimbi buba kuidi biti bi ntoto, buba biti binlangu, buba kuidi nti wumosi vayi mavanga mambimbi kuidi batu bakambulu dimbu ki Nzambi mu zimbulu ziawu.
And they were forbidden to injure the herbage of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree. They were only to injure human beings--those who have not the seal of God on their foreheads.
5 Mawu masia tambula ko minsua mu vonda vayi mu yamisa mu tezo ki zingondi zitanu. Vayi ndiamusulu yawu yidi banga ndiamusulu yi khutu bu yitatikidi mutu.
Their mission was not to kill, but to cause awful agony for five months; and this agony was like that which a scorpion inflicts when it stings a man.
6 Mu bilumbu bina batu bela tomba lufua vayi balendi lutambula ko. Bela mona tsatu yi fua vayi lufua luela kuba tina.
And at that time people will seek death, but will by no possibility find it, and will long to die, but death evades them.
7 Makhoko momo madedakana banga ziphunda zikubuku mu mvita. Mu mintu miawu muba bibudu biba bidedakana banga nolo; bizizi biawu biba banga bizizi bi batu.
The appearance of the locusts was like that of horses equipped for war. On their heads they had wreaths which looked like gold.
8 Zitsuki ziawu ziba banga zi baketo ayi meno mawu maba banga meno ma zikhosi.
Their faces seemed human and they had hair like women's hair, but their teeth resembled those of lions.
9 Minkaku mi zithulu ziawu miawu miba banga minkaku mi sengo. Biyoko bi mavavi mawu biba banga biyoko bi ziphunda ziwombo zintitika “Salio” bu zinzawula mu mvita.
They had breast-plates which seemed to be made of steel; and the noise caused by their wings was like that of a vast number of horses and chariots hurrying into battle.
10 Bosi minkila miawu midedakana banga mi zikhutu. Lulendo luawu luvangila batu mbimbi mu tezo ki zingondi zitanu luba mu minkila miawu.
They had tails like those of scorpions, and also stings; and in their tails lay their power of injuring mankind for five months.
11 Mbasi yi diyenga niandi ntinu makhoko beni ayi dizina diandi mu ki Ebelewo dinsundula: Abadoni bosi mu kingeleki dizina diandi Apolioni. (Abyssos g12)
The locusts had a king over them--the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is 'Abaddon,' while in the Greek he is called 'Apollyon.' (Abyssos g12)
12 Mabienga ma theti maviokidi; tala mammuadi malembo landakana mama.
The first woe is past; two other woes have still to come.
13 Mbasi yi nsambanu yisika tulumbeta ayi ndiwa mbembo yitotukila mu zitsongi ziya zi ntala wu nolo wuba va ntuala Nzambi.
The sixth angel blew his trumpet; and I heard a single voice speaking from among the horns of the golden incense altar which is in the presence of God.
14 Mbembo beni yituba kuidi mbasi yi nsambanu yisimba tulumbeta: —Nianguna zimbasi ziya ziozi zidi zikangama va ndambu Efalata, nlangu wunneni.
It said to the sixth angel--the angel who had the trumpet, "Set at liberty the four angels who are prisoners near the great river Euphrates."
15 Banianguna zimbasi ziya ziozi zikubuku mu diambu di thangu, lumbu, ngondi ayi mvu muingi zivonda ndambu yimosi mu zindambu zitatu zi batu.
And the four angels who had been kept in readiness for that hour, day, month, and year, were set at liberty, so that they might kill a third part of mankind.
16 Ndiwa thalu yi batu bobo bandiatilanga va mbata phunda. Baba makumuadi ma mafunda buela kumi di mafunda.
The number of the cavalry was two hundred millions; I heard their number.
And this was the appearance of the horses which I saw in my vision--and of their riders. The body-armour of the riders was red, blue and yellow; and the horses' heads were shaped like the heads of lions, while from their mouths there came fire and smoke and sulphur.
18 Mu bivuku mbazu, muisi ayi sufule bitotukila mu miunu mi ziphunda mu vondolo ndambu yimosi mu zindambu zitatu zi batu.
By these three plagues a third part of mankind were destroyed--by the fire and the smoke, and by the sulphur which came from their mouths.
19 Bila lulendo lu ziphunda luidi mu miunu miawu ayi mu minkila miawu. Minkila miawu midedikini banga zinioka, minkila miawu miba ayi mintu; mu miawu zieti vangila mbimbi.
For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; their tails being like serpents, and having heads, and it is with them that they inflict injury.
20 Vayi batu bankaka, bobo basiala, bobo basia vondo ko kuidi bivukubiobi, basia balula mavanga ko mu mavanga ma mioko miawu mu diambu babika zitisa ziphevi zimbimbi ayi bitumba binolo, bi palata, bitsongo, bi matadi ayi binti biobi bilendi buba ti mona, buba wa, buba diata.
But the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues, did not even then repent and leave the things they had made, so as to cease worshipping the demons, and the idols of gold and silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear, nor move.
21 Basia balula mavanga ko mu phondolo yi batu, mu mazi mawu, mu kitsuza kiawu, mu buivi buawu.
Nor did they repent of their murders, their practice of magic, their fornication, or their thefts.
